QandnotU on "Process Flow Help"

This is what I'm attempting to accomplish.

The first step would include the necessary fields to create a user. I would like the user to move to step 2 and have his account automatically created. Users cannot view the remaining steps unless they are registered/logged in. I would like a welcome email (with user credentials) to be sent once they move from step 1 to 2.

Here is the path I'm going down now, am I over complicating things?

I have created two separate forms:

Form One (Registration):
I've created one form that includes all fields to register a user. This form redirects to a page with the second form (The application)

Form Two (Application)
This is the entire application (multi-step). This form requires a user to be logged in to complete.

Issue One:
How do I get the user to be automatically logged in when they proceed to step 2. My redirect takes them to the application page but it wants them to login to see it.

Issue Two:
Some of the application includes fields they created in the registration form, I would like to pass this user info to auto populate these duplicate fields.

Can this be accomplished using a single form? Am I going down the right path above? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using Gravity Forms for user registration, but I'm a bit confused on how to add custom fields. On top of this I want to have an "update profile" form that will autofill with the current logged in user's information and allow updating of these fields.

By The Way, I am NOT using BuddyPress if this makes a difference.

Hello!

This plugin is working great so far. Something I'd like to do is customize the emails that are sent out, but I can't find where in the PHP the emails are compiled.

Can somebody help with this?

Thanks so much!

Ok I've read all that I think there is regarding your user registration add-on and wishlist.

I'm not a programmer so can you simply tell me if I can use the plug-in to create a registration form that allows member level using wishlist member levels? Of course, without coding... If no, then I'll figure out a process work around cuz I'm not coding.. it's why I use plug ins....

Thanks,

Jen

Oh yeah - are you going to come out with a simple way of changing the look and feel of forms without having to code CSS? CSS is simple enough however if you don't take in consideration all the different browsers then the look doesn't stay consistent. Other form plugins give the user a GUI interface for changing style.

I'm using the action "Update User" to allow an already logged in user to "create a new site" on my multisite network. However, I've run in to a minor quirk: If I use the username as the Site address I get a validation error, "Sorry, that site is reserved!"

I created a quick screencast and uploaded the (unlisted) video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tSO05qlAoY

Of course I can use any "Site Address" other than the username and it works fine. Has anyone run into this before? Thoughts?

How can I solve this conflict? Thanks!

I've been requested to set up a membership sign-up such that a member is automatically assigned a membership number which is also their login username

As in, each member username needs to be H followed by 5 numbers. Is this possible, or is it forced that a user create their own username?

Thanks, Josh

I have a registered license for Gravity. I am using the Registration plugin 1.6. Under "Plugins" it says that there is a new version and that I should register my Gravity in order to get it. My Gravity IS registered and I am using it for other forms. So, I clicked the update. I get the message that the Register plugin is updated. Also, that I have the latest version. BUT, I still get the "Update" message for the Register plugin in my Plugins list.

This doesn't seem to be causing a problem. Only an aggravation.

We have a sequence of 8 forms users have to fill out. But we want them to fill it out in sequence;

For example, they shouldn't be allowed to fill out form 2 until they've completed form 1. Is there a way to do that?

I have some custom custom user meta that includes several checkboxes sets, like this,

http://glui.me/?i=gj1vfqgqytxcta3/2013-05-12_at_7.57.38_PM.png/

And on the front end I have a user registration (update user) form like so,

http://glui.me/?i=0fz7vv9c8caw6p5/2013-05-12_at_7.58.30_PM.png/

However, there is no option for those form fields in the user registration meta section in here,

http://glui.me/?i=cyubeg45mucai63/2013-05-12_at_7.59.22_PM.png/

Is it possible to have checkboxes that can update info?

Thank you.
