Typically I publish a blog post when we release an update but this is such a minor update that I didn't feel it warranted an entire blog post. Gravity Forms MailChimp Add-On v2.1 is now available via automatic update and the Add-On Downloads page.

Here is what is new:

- Added Name (Full) as an option to the field mapping list when the form has a Name field set to Normal or Extended format.

We recommend users update to this latest version to stay current with both plugins and WordPress.

Upgrading Your License

We get a lot of questions about upgrading licenses. That's awesome and it's also much easier than ever. If you are running Gravity Forms v1.5 or newer you can upgrade your license directly from within the plugin. A discount is factored into the price based on the license key you already own.

Login to your WordPress site's admin dashboard

Go to the Gravity Forms Settings page (Forms > Settings)

If you have entered your license key, upgrade options will appear below the settings area on that page - it may take a few seconds for it to appear as it is loaded via AJAX.

If you have not previously entered your license key, enter it and save your settings and then the upgrade options will appear.

Select the license you would like to upgrade to and click the upgrade link to purchase the upgrade via PayPal.

You can also upgrade here on the support site. Go to the right sidebar ---> and select the "My Account" link. Your current license key will be listed on that page along with an upgrade link.

Finding Your License Key(s)

Have you misplaced your license key and need to find out what it was? You can do that now easily. Just Go to the right sidebar ---> and select the "My Account" link. Your license key information is listed at the very top of the page.

How to Re-Download the Plugin Files

If your download link has expired or you simply need to re-download the plugin files you can do that by going to the right sidebar ---> and selecting the "Plugin Downloads" link in the menu. You'll find the latest version of the plugin available for download there.

We're sorry about the connection issues that we've been having on the support site here and wanted to let you know that we're working to get the issues corrected with our hosting company as soon as we can. Here's a short post with some additional information on what we're doing.

http://rkt.gs/facepalm

UPDATE: We are in the process of migrating the main GravityForms.com & GravityHelp.com sites to a new, more robust hosting provider today, January 26, 2011. We hope to have this completed by this evening. This should alleviate the database errors that we've been having and allow for increased bandwidth to handle the high-traffic hours. Again, we really appreciate your patience and understanding.

Our new documentation should be rolling out soon, but for now, here's the details on how to use the Gform predefined choices filter to create new predefined choices for multiple choice fields, checkboxes and drop-down fields.

Description
________________________________________

This filter is executed when the form editor is loaded, before creating the list of predefined choices for the selection fields (Checkboxes, Multiple Choice and Drop Down). This hook can be used to add new predefined choices as well as deleting existing ones.

Usage
________________________________________

Applies to all forms

<?php

Applies to a specific form. In this case, form Id 5

Parameters

$choices
(Array) An array with the existing predefined choices to be filtered. It is an associative array where the key is the title and the value is an array containing the choices.

$choices["My Favorite Food"] = array("Fruit", "Hamburger", "Beans");

Example
________________________________________

This example adds a new predefined choice to the end of the list.

<?php

add_filter("gform_predefined_choices", "add_predefined_choice");
function add_predefined_choice($choices){
