This is awesome! Although I wish it could just bypass the folder and send as an attachment only. I would love that option.

The next release of Gravity Forms will have a hook that you will be able to use to control where file uploads go if you want to override the default settings. This can be done for all forms or you can do it for a specific form id. We have already implemented it. Watch for it in the next release.

This isn't possible as a feature, you would have to hack the core code in order to accomplish this. It's a good idea as an API hook. I have added this to our list for the next feature release. We will create a hook where you can define where file uploads for a form should go if you want to override the built in location.

Interesting suggestion. In our case having all resumes go to a specific folder would be neat. Regards.

ok, so a work around but still using Gravity Forms....

Is it possible to have the uploaded photos added to a specific sub folder? I might then be able to get Flickr to pull the photos in from that specific folder?

So how/can I change the folder that a specific form sends it's uploads to?

All help appreciated.

Currently Gravity Forms does not send file uploads as attachments.

We would like to add this as a feature down the road, however there are issues involves web server configurations that we would have to resolve. It could be a support nightmare with the large number of web server configurations.

This is a neat application. I can see exactly what you're trying to do. There are so many services that will allow you to send in attachments like this (to a special email address) and have them posted automatically.

Hi Guys,
Is there any way to get a file upload sent as an attachment and not as a link to the uploads folder?

I really need them to be sent as attachments so that a Flickr account can be auto updated via email.

All help appreciated.

Thanks
