			<description>&#60;p&#62;My explanation above details why it behaves the way it does.  It is how the MailChimp API behaves when you pass groups, it replaces rather than appends the groups to the user.  It's how MailChimp designed the API call related to adding groups.  &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We do know of a way to work around this and I will see that it gets implemented in the next MailChimp update.  I'll discuss it with the team and try and see if we can get an update pushed out next week.

Please give 1.8 a try and let us know if your experience is any different.  I don't think it will be, actually, because I think this is a limitation with Mailchimp's API.

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Any updates on this? I have the same issue and my only work around is to replicate my master list for each group then move new subscribers back to the master. MailChimp does not overwrite current group subscriptions in their dashboard when doing the moves.
