Hi there,
Just sent this query in as a priority support request - wasn't aware I could do so - my apologies,

Hi there,
I've researched, tried pretty much everything I can find/think of but I'm obviously missing a key piece of the puzzle. Here's what I've done.

Form One (redirects to form two)
In the Pass Field Data Via Query String field;
first={Recipients Name (First):62.3}&last={Recipients Name (Last):62.6}

Form Two
In the Allow field to be populated dynamically field;
Field Parameter Name
First - first
Last - last

URL works;
.../?first=Jason&last=Koning

However, when the notification email arrives the first & last name are blank.
This is what is in the notification;

Log in & view the credit card details for {Recipients Name (First):17.3} {Recipients Name (Last):17.6}'s Gift Voucher order;
{entry_url}

So it's either not accepting the fields, or it's not displaying them.
Help.
Please :)

Is there any way to wrap this around a word like you would a simple href tag, like 'log in to view this entry' rather than simply having the fully qualified URL in the email submission?
You know what I mean yeah?

You're welcome, I am sure the developers will find away of including placeholders in gravity forms at some stage, it's only recently become widely supported by the browsers

Thank you so much Richard!!
This process is very confusing. I (along with MANY other requests from other users) sure wish this was a feature of GF. Especially as the only form on the GF homepage uses this.

Jeff, the placeholder plugin you have installed uses the field label as the placeholder, but the placeholder won't work if you have a default value set, which it appears you have. If you remove the default value and then add the text you wan't to appear as the placeholder in the field label you should find it works.

Jeff, have you also set a default value for that field, it also looks like the field label is empty

I'm having the exact same problem with trying to get the text disappear once clicked.
I've installed the gravity-forms-placeholders plugin and even added gplaceholder to the CSS Class Name box under the fields advanced tab.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you
