I'm considering developing a plugin that will do this. I'm wondering what you all think about some of these concepts:

- Are you comfortable with WordPress having direct access to your Dynamics CRM SQL server? To any interested parties: do you know what SQL replication is, and, if so, does that appeal to you more than a direct connection from WP to MS SQL? (in order to address reliability and/or security concerns)

- Should the data flow in both directions, both from Gravity Forms to Dynamics CRM, as well as from Dynamics CRM to WordPress? (ex. 'View my profile' and 'Edit my contact information')

We aren't taking any greatness away, but we can't do every add-on for every service. We just don't have the resource to release them at a quality level we would be happy with. The community has access to everything they need to make add-ons, and there are over 50 already on the WordPress Plugins Extend.

The PayPal add-on supports discount fields now, so the update_paypal_query is no longer necessary to add to the theme's functions file when using PayPal. The promo code / coupon code stuff outlined above that still functions as needed.

I would kill someone to get this up and running. Has anyone had any success getting any information from Gravity into Dynamics? Even if through a third party program?

Hi all,

please count me in as well - I'd love to see a plugin for dynamics capable to map fields.

Cheers

You can access the form data with the array $form, and the fields specifically with $form['fields'].

Then you could do a loop through each field and look for type=email.

Here is the output of just $form['fields'][8] which is the email field in a form I'm using.

adminLabel =>
adminOnly =>
allowsPrepopulate =>
description =>
cssClass => gf_right_half
errorMessage =>

So maybe something like:

if(is_array($form['fields'])){
        foreach($form['fields'] as $key=>$fieldinfo){
            foreach($fieldinfo as $key2=>$fielddata){
                if($key2=='type' && $fielddata=='email'){
                    $gf_field_id_email = $fieldinfo['id'];
                }
            }
        }
    }

and then you can access the entry data (email address) with this:

$entry[$gf_field_id_email]

Hope this helps!
