Hello GF people,

I’m trying to embed a form (optin form with an image as a background), something like this:

<div style="background: url('http://www.straightforex.com/sfgf/images/blue.jpg') 0 0 no-repeat; height: 200px; align: center;">
<p style="color: white; font-size: 30px; text-align: center;">Análisis del Mercado</p>
<p style="color: white; font-size: 16px; text-align: center;">Recibe en tu correo mis análisis, ideas de operación y señales del mercado.</p>
[gravityform id="5" name="Optin Secondary" title="false" description="false"]
</div>

The problem is, the short code is not working, instead of displaying the form it displays the code.

Now, I’m using the AdRotate plug in to insert the code after each post. Here is the link to the plugin:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/adrotate/

Any ideas how I can fix this?

I appreciate your help.

Regards,

Hi,

I'm using Wordpress 3.2.1 and both plugins Gravity Forms 1.5.2.8 and AdRotate 3.6.3
But when I activate the AdRotate plugin the textareas in my contact form is limited to about 200 characters in the entries in admin panel.
I checked my database and I have the full messages in the wp_rg_lead_detail_long table. But I can't see it neither on the admin notification email nor on the entries.
How can I fix this ? Is the problem on AdRotate or Gravity Forms ?

Thanks

I have created a form today, but somehow two required fields are not working.
The first is for filling in fist + last name
The second is the address field

After filling in these fields and the rest of the form, they show up after submitting the form as empty required fields.

Please help
The form can be found here http://www.fitmagazine.nu/adverteren/leverancierindex/

I'm using the name and address advanced fields in my form and flagged them as being required. However, when I fill in the fields and submit the form (whether on the site or from the preview) it keeps coming back with an error message. In both field blocks the message 'this field is required' is shown and the input fields are emptied. The regular fields in the form still show the text I've entered.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,

This is related to this post http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/bulk-addpredefined-choices-not-working

I found that another plugin, AdRotate , conflicts with the thickbox on Bulk/Add Predefined Choices (opaque overlay appears, but box does not popup). This is a widely used plugin.

I'm thinking that this comment by Cristian Antohe is starting to make sense:

Another plugin that enqeues ThickBox is WPML. Maybe you can contact them about it as well.

I know this isn't GF fault, but you could always do a:
wp_deregister_script( 'thickbox');
on GF pages and register your own gfthickbox afterward. Might save people some time :)

I can't believe that I am the only person seeing this problem, given the number of plugins out there?

I created a form, to create a concept post. If I fill in the form, the main post field is cut-off after about 200 chars. I can't find the problem... A test install of worpress (3.2.1) doesn't have the problem with the same form. Disabling some of the recently added plugins had no result. Debug mode reveals the following database error on submit. But I don't know what is means.

INNER JOIN wp_rg_lead_detail_long l ON l.lead_detail_id = d.id
WHERE lead_id=25 AND field_number BETWEEN 1,000000 AND 2,000000 gemaakt door require, wp, WP->main, do_action_ref_array, call_user_func_array, RGForms->maybe_process_form, GFFormDisplay->process_form, GFFormDisplay->handle_submission, RGFormsModel->get_lead, RGFormsModel->build_lead_array, RGFormsModel->get_field_value_long
[07-Nov-2011 09:19:14] WordPress databasefout You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '000000 AND 2,000000' at line 3 bij query SELECT l.value FROM wp_rg_lead_detail d

And above error is in my error log about 10 times on 1 form submit...

Is above error related to gravity forms, or my install of wordpress...

I'm having an issue with some advanced fields in my forms. Specifically the Address and the compound Name field.

The entire website was moved, pretty much as-is from one server to another. Here are two comparison pages, the first, with the working form, the second, with the non-working form. This very same error occurs on multiple forms, but I'll use one form as a demo.

Old site: works.
http://magazinemci.com/sabonner-au-magazine/

New site: busted.
http://magazinemci.info/sabonner-au-magazine/

What happens is that I'll enter some valid data into the forms and all Advanced (compound fields) correctly send the data. On the first site, it just goes though as it should. Error checking functions correctly when invalid data is entered.

On the second site, the form values are passed onto WP, but the page reloads with a field required error, and display blank fields. Re-entering the data and resubmitting it only leads to a loop.

If I remove the compound fields, and replace the Advanced Name field with two single line text fields, these newly added fields, while still being required, behave correctly.

I cannot remove the previously created Advanced fields to re-build the form without loss of previously entered data, so my only option is to figure out how to cause the Advanced compound fields to behave correctly.

Your thoughts and advice would be appreciated.
