Is there anywhere in Wordpress that you can delete the Gravity Forms uploaded files? Or can this only be done via FTP?

My clients are taking pictures on their mobile devices and submitting them to my site via gravity forms, but I need to be able to grab the EXIF data from images to get the GPS coords from the image data...

I am using http://wordpress.org/plugins/thesography/ and it works using its shortcode only on images uploaded to the media library by taking its post id and spitting out all the EXIF data of that attachment's post id. I want to hack this plugin and make it work with a Gform hook or something or else make Gforms add the uploaded image automatically to the Media Library upon form submission, so that I can just use the other plugin's shortcode data to take over from there as Gravity Forms assigns a post id to that newly added Media attachment. What's the best way to go about this?

My client receives submissions on her Gravity Form from potential clients who are sending her attachments for her to work on. Earlier this month, she received 2 different form submissions, two days apart on May 6 and May 8, from people who did NOT know each other, but the attachment that Gravity Forms delivered to her was identical for both of them. She went back to the Wordpress Forms dashboard panel and tried to download them again directly from there, but it kept giving her the same attachment for each person. She finally had to have the 2nd person send her the attachment via email, but this made her very wary of how GF operates. She has since received another submission with a correct PDF attachment.

Looking at the dates that she gave me, I see that this happened a few hours after I most likely updated the GF plugin (although I can't be positive of that) on May 6. I have since updated to GF Version 1.7.3 as of today.

My client wants an answer as to why this happened and how it can be prevented again in the future. What do I tell her?

Thanks!

I have gravity forms setup to auto post the form as a post . http://www.officialplanking.com . alot of people need to upload via mobile. I have tried all mobile packs for wordpress and none even display the form. On desktop version the upload is blacked out. Is there anyway to allow mobile users (iphone android) to upload their photo onto the form!? Thanks and i will donate to anyone who figures this out.

Hi,

I'm having a problem where my form is not returning the
$entry['post_id']
when using the Custom Post Type Plugin.

I have tried the hooks
gform_pre_submission

gform_after_submission
and
gform_post_data
but the
print_r
values of all these did not contain the
post id
field. I am trying to get the post id so I can associate an uploaded file with it which makes me think I need to get the id then do it BEFORE the form is submitted

Any help would be awesome

I am trying to get Asana email integrations (http://help.asana.com/customer/portal/articles/69313-how-do-i-email-tasks-into-a-project-or-tag-) to play nice with gravity forms.

Whenever a form is submitted from here: https://legiblecontent.com/order-now/ the resulting email has all the form info attached as a .htm file and then only passes the subject line to asana and ignores the body because it sees no text. This seems like a simple fix I'm missing help!

I set the email to another email address to test that's how I discovered the .HTM issue. If I tweak round cube settings it resolves the inline .htm issues and the email displays as plain text and if I manually forward it the email shows up in Asana perfectly.

I really want to be able to send a completed form directly to asana via email.

Hi guys,

I have a problem and I don't know how to solve this.
I have some 15 documents in PDF and I need a form where all these PDF's will be listed as check boxes. When user select some of them form should send those PDF's as attachments or as links on user email.
I want to send to user only PDF docs that he choose in the form, and not all of them.
Is there any simple way on how to solve this?

I found some similar solutions, but not as I describe/need.
Thanks.

I'd like to attach a PDF to the confirmation email that's sent. That PDF is attached as post metadata to the post that includes the form (there is more than one post and each post has a different PDF).

I've attached single files using gform_user_notification_attachments before, but I'm not sure how to get gravity forms to recognize which post it is on and attach the PDF for that post.

Just to be clear, there is a post, with a file attached as metadata. There is a form on that post to request being sent a link to the file. The user submits an email address and gets a link to the file attached to the post they submitted there email address on.

Referencing this thread: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/use-pre-selected-file-as-user-notification-attachment

And this code specifically:

add_filter("gform_user_notification_attachments", "add_attachment", 10, 3);
function add_attachment($attachments, $lead, $form){

    //getting wordpress upload folder
    $upload = wp_upload_dir();
    $upload_path = $upload["basedir"];

    $attachments = array();

    //add a file from the uploads folder
    $attachments[] = $upload_path . "/my_file.jpg";

    return $attachments;
}

This function is working properly, but I need to specify the attachment is only attached to confirmations for a single form. How can I do that?
