I was feeling that if you create List A -- that has an "Automation rule" to subscribe to List B....that it might work out.

Granted that you set "List A" to No Confirmation.

Does that work for anyone?

You should be able to download the add-ons manually from GravityHelp.com over in the right sidebar. You might have a plugin/theme conflict causing the issue. Can you test the following - http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

When you go to Forms -> Settings does the license key input box have a checkmark next to it? Do you have all green checkmarks at the bottom of the settings page?

I'm trying to update the Aweber add-on, but it's telling me I need to register/purchase a Gravity Forms license key.

I already have a license key and it is registered in the Gravity Forms plug-in. Why will it not recognize it? The license not need renewing until later July.

Thanks.

You should contact your web host and have them enable cURL. It's required for the Aweber Add-on and it is not available, according to this error message. Please share this error with your host and have them enable the required functions.

There isn't a way to process a form as you've stated. Gravity Forms, as it exists today, requires the linear process to work correctly, and you can't interrupt this process if you want it to pass data to third party services.

Hello, I want to use Aweber Addon with Gravity Forms.

But, the form I'm making needs to "Be Approved" before the person is added to the mailing list, or, before they are sent the Confirmation Opt In Email/Link.

So what I did was make a Multiple Select Field, and made it only visible to the admin.

Then, under the Aweber Link, under "Forms" in WP, I selected some Opt-In Condition Logic to "Export to Aweber" if, "Status" is "Approved"

Then, made a Test Entry.

Then, as admin, in the Edit Entry page....... I marked it as "Approved"

I had hoped the form would essentially be "re-processed" and "Then" "Export To Aweber"

But it did not work this way, and this "me feeling so smart feeling" went away ;(

Is there a way to fully re-process a form, so something like above would work?

Any tips on how i could accomplish this? I need to manually approve of the data in the form, before the person is actually granted access to the Mailing List.

Thank you

The first thing i'd say is I wouldn't recommend displaying the SAME form multiple times on a page. It can cause some strange behavior depending on features and functionality you may be using. Especially when implementing more complex features that utilize JS. That doesn't mean you can't do it, it just means that it's possible you may encounter strange behavior.

There is no step by step tutorial that explains how to do everything you have asked. You've asked a few different questions so each one of them have their own documentation associated with how to do what you describe.

If you would like to display a form in a widget then you'd simply add the Gravity Forms widget to the sidebar and configure it's settings just like any other widget.

If you want to display a form below a single post then you would simply insert the Gravity Forms shortcode to display the form you'd like to display at the bottom of the post content when creating the post.

Here is documentation on how to embed a form in a page or post using the shortcode:

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Embedding_A_Form#Page.2FPost_Editor

If you want to display a form below EVERY SINGLE post globally and therefore don't want to actually put the form shortcode within the page or post content itself then you would need to edit your theme and implement displaying the form using a PHP function call.

Here is documentation on how to display a form using a PHP function call within a theme:

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Embedding_A_Form#Function_Call

Now please note. When displaying a form via a PHP function there is more involved. You need to also enqueue the necessary styles and scripts. This is handled automatically when displaying a form via a shortcode, but not when doing so with a function call because of how WordPress enqueue functionality works.

Here is documentation on how to make sure you enqueue the necessary CSS and scripts for a form when displaying it via a PHP function call within your theme:

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gravity_form_enqueue_scripts

As for MailChimp, you would integrate MailChimp using the MailChimp Add-On. The documentation for the MailChimp Add-On explains how to implement MailChimp on a form. You can find it's documentation here:

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/MailChimp_Add-On

The documentation covers the questions you asked and the main documentation can be found here:

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gravity_Forms_Documentation
