Dear Gravity Help,

Is it possible to refer to the real product price in the form (fields)?
I'm creating a webshop for floors. In which 1 floor (for example) is €15 p/m2.

In a Gravity form I would like to add:
- {Number}... And I would like to calculate that: Input of {number} * real product price (€15,-).

Thanks in advance,

Hi,
i'm using gravity form in my site to calculate the price of the prints i made based on various choices.
The principal choice is the dimension.
I noticed that if i try to use decimal ( for example 34,5 cm ) the number it's recognised as 345.
Even if i use the . instead of the comma.
Is there something i can do?

Hello Developer's,

I am also using Gravity Forms Product Add On as well to add additional costs/options to products on a Woocommerce site.

I need on one page of a multi page form, 10 single line input text boxes with 2 radio buttons per line on the right as a choice as to what type of line it is... a repeating line or a changing line. The user fills in the text box if it is a repeating line and leaves blank if it is a changing line. Repeating lines radio buttons have a value of 0. Changing line radio buttons have a value. Here's where the javascript comes in to play:
No changing lines: $0.00
1 changing line: $3.50
2 changing lines: $5.50
3 changing lines: $7.25
4 changing lines: $8.75

There wouldn't be more than 4 changing lines that the user would input out of the 10. I imagine you could "count" the total number changing lines selected and depending on that number, add the cost

Now the exciting stuff... What the form above will be doing is acting as a template (per say). On the same page as this form would be a drop down with 1-10. If the user chooses, let's say 5 and clicks the "next" button, 5 exactly the same forms, just like the one we just created will be on the next page. This is where the Pre Render would come into play. Also, the value or cost from from the changing line radio buttons would show as well. So in this case, 5 times the number of total changing lines.

If interested, I can go in to more detail via email/phone. Also, 8-9 similar types of option forms coming in the next week that I know I will need to job out as well.

Contact Email: sean.mcward@seanmcward.com
Date needed: ASAP on this first form

Thanks

Hi there,

I've got a problem that I think should be solvable. My non-profit wants to calculate membership costs in pricing fields based on the user's response to two questions. But we don't want the user to see how this works behind the scenes, so we don't want any prices to appear before the total amount.

Here are the 2 questions that determine cost:

1. Please select the industry group that best describes your business*

    Commercial Products/Services
Construction
Consumer Products
Education, Non-Profit & Government Entities
Financial & Insurance Services
Healthcare
Information Technology
Manufacturing
Professional
Transportation

2. Number of employees in U.S.*

    1 – 750
751 – 1,000
1,001 – 1,500
More than 1,500

And here's the logic we want to implement:

- IF the answer question 1 is "Education, non-profit & government," THEN total is $950.00

- IF the answer to question 1 is NOT "Education, non-profit & government," AND answer to question 2 is...
"1 – 750" then total is $950.00
"751 – 1,000" then total is $1,875.00
"1,001 – 1,500" then total is $3,125.00
"More than 1,500" then total is $4,500.00

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,

(first: this is NO question for asking custom code customization)

I have searched hours today for simple examples how to use certain advanced features on the forum, but no luck.

What i need is a simple step by step example of the following, for me it is important how to implement jQuery code since i will have to program some complex calculations. I am still figuring out the jQeury part, but that is not mine problem here for this question.

I know you guys don't do code customization and i understand that, but how to implement the custom code that is what i am expecting to get support for. Ok that was the background.

What i want is the following.

A user has to put in a value, then this value must be validated against a certain number range, once it has been validated, then it will be assigned a percentage which will popup in another field. After that i must use that percentage to apply it to another value which is also a user input. That is the case.

Now i understand that putting above validation/check coding in jQuery might not be as simple as it states. So i don't expect you guys translate that for me in jQuery code, but if you can and it is simple, i would be glad if you could do that also for me.

For explaining this to me you can use your own general code example, even a "hello world" would be ok. The point is, i need to know where/how to add the jQuery code in the form process so that it will respond on the user input field so that i can implement this later once i have programmed mine calculations.

Hope you can help me, since i am stuck right know and need to finish mine project.

Thanks!

Hi there.

In order to allow "duplicate" values in a dropdown menu, I would like to edit the dropdown menu as follows:

Apples and Oranges | 50-1
Oranges and Lemons | 50-2
Pineapples | 50-3
tomatoes | 80-1

I need to remove the "-1", or "-2" from the dropdown menu's value for use in calculations.

How can I remove the this when I calculate my form fields?

Thank you

I am using GF for a print shop site and the scenario I am facing is that the type of material the customer chooses (i.e. glossy paper or satin paper) significantly impacts the total price. However, I am only given - as far as I know - a fixed price option, which doesn't work since the size of the print also impacts the final price. Currently, the customer inputs the WIDTH and HEIGHT of their print, which gives me the sub-total but from there, I would like to use that WIDTH and HEIGHT sub-total to come up with a final price based on the material choice (set at a price multiplier).

For instance, if the customer selects the more expensive Satin Paper, I need for the price calculation to be a multiplier (not a fixed added cost) since the price of Satin costs much more than regular glossy. I see the +/- pricing options but that doesn't help me much because I can only put in a fixed price. Someone ordering a small poster that is 2x2" shouldn't have to pay the same fixed cost as someone ordering a 10x20' sign.

Also, I was looking at the PRODUCT field and setting it to CALCULATOR but this doesn't quite do what I am looking for.

THANKS FOR ANY/ALL HELP! All solutions and suggestions welcome!

Hi everyone,

Just getting started with GF and I'm enjoying it so far. My situation is as follows: I have a form that takes registrations for a childrens summer camp. In addition to contact information, I've created an option field with several weeks that the parents can choose from. Each week has a price associated with it, with the curve ball that if the user selects four or more weeks they get a 10% discount.

In addition, my client would like the ability to offer the choice of paying in full now, or paying a $50 deposit with the rest to be invoiced later.

I attempted the 10% discount using some sample code I found that computed tax, but apparently that may no longer be necessary as GF offers computations, so please let me know if I'm making this overly difficult. The other option that I'm stuck on is how to accommodate the whole discount vs. full payment thing. Thanks in advance!

Hi there

I am creating a form for a conference quotation. The total cost of the conference is "full day conference, qty: multiplied by the number of delegates attending.

Number field: Number of delegates

I am using product fields for the following:

*Full Day conference
*Half Day conference

Number fields:

Total Cost Full Day: (Full Day conference x number of delegates)
Total Cost Half Day: (Half Day conference x number of delegates)

This is working great, however the "total" field (from product options), it calculating the qty of full day conferences x unit price, and also qty of half day conference x unit price)

i need the total field to calculate as follows:

Full day conference x number of delegates + half day conference x number of delegates.

I hope i am explaining correctly... here is a link to my form, which also includes a "total" field (by using a number block with calculations to show how the pricing field "total" needs to be calculated.
