We have two different option to pay: PayPal and a Credit Card via custom development. We would like to use the PayPal add-on and a custom script for the credit card option.

We have added a radio button in our form to choose the desired option.

Is there any way to change the add-on or behaviour according to the option selected in the radio button?

Is it at all possible to pay directly with a credit card? I'm having an unresolveable issue trying to pay with Paypal, and I was wondering if there's any way to pay directly with a debit card or checking account...?

Common sense tells me no because it's not an option at checkout, but in light of the fact that this determines whether or not I become a paying customer, I was hoping you could help me out and accept a direct payment. Please let me know.

Thanks!
Sam

Right now, my form can accept credit cards....

BUT if someone wanted to finish directly at PayPal (since it is more trustworthy looking), and keep the data in their cart (item and/or price), how do I do that?

since upgrade to 1.7.2 yesterday,I am having a problem with my credit card payment form. I don't have any addons with it other than salesforce API addon and CF7 importer (both up to date).
In the form builder i have:
a user contributed price field,
a 2% surcharge field that auto calculates in inputs the surcharge,
and a total price field that adds the 2 previous fields together. (all product fields)
I then have a hidden field that sends the order to our credit card merchant. (number field).
on the website, these all work as they should (user puts in a price, the 2% is calculated and shows, and the total is calculated and shows), however in the backend, in both the entries and in the notification email that is sent, the total field does not add the surcharge (even though it does in the webpage) and the hidden field is only coming through with a value of 0. all of the calculations are correct, and it should work. I had a php guy (the person who intergrated the form with our merchant) look over it, and he cannot find any error either, and has also concluded that it is a problem with the update...
any thoughts?

I have the latest update of WP (currently 3.5.1)
hopefully that is enough info at least to start.

I have created a donation page here: https://www.helpingthepoor.org/donate-to-st-vincent-de-paul/
Everything was working fine and we were taking donations until April 1st. All of a sudden, it says that the credit card is being declined by the bank. I know this is not the case. It also says this for all test credit card numbers as well. I looked and everything appears to be the same. What happened? Can you help?

It seems that users can only enter their credit card number without spaces. when a visitor enters spaces in their credit card number (exactly as it appears on their card) they receive an error.

Are there any workarounds with this issue? It happens all the time and we are losing sales due to frustrated visitors.

Yes adding a note to enter their card without spaces is a fix, but it's not the ideal solution.

Is there a way to add a credit card form/fields so that all information is completely captured? I really like the layout of the standard credit card form but it's not ideal as everything except the last four numbers are blocked (the expiry date is also not stored).

I did reference another thread on this topic ( http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/credit-card-number#post-62839 ), however it's not clear what the solution is.

I have a theme which calculates the total cost and then asks for a deposit of 20%. Problem is it then expects to process this via PayPal. My client would rather not use PayPal. So I want to use Gravity Forms to collect the name fields, email field and deposit field (from the form they've just submitted) and then ask them to complete their credit card details. I want to then process this through wordpress-https plugin so that it is secure/encrypted and my client can then manually process the cc payment or not (if he wants more info from the customer for example). I thought Gravity Forms would do it for me, but now I'm totally lost. Am I heading down the wrong path?

I have a need for the credit card number (not masked) and need to send it on to another system. Is there a way to accomplish this? I am wondering which hook to use and if anyone might have a snippet of code. Specifically, I would like to get the unmasked credit card number and save it to a hidden field for now.

I tried this one to no avail:

add_filter("gform_pre_submission_filter", "add_cc");
function add_cc($form){

    //get the credit card
    $cc  = $_POST["input_91.1"] . ",";
    $_POST["input_98"]=$cc;
    //returning modified form object
    return $form;
}
