Hi there,

On this site, I have 2 forms (the blue toggles on the left of the page). I need the notification for each form to go to a Custom Field I have set up for the email address on each page (each page the form is on will have a different email address that the notification is sent to).

The key for the email field is
wpcf-email
, so I have placed
{custom_field:wpcf-email}
as the Default Value in an email field in the form. Notification has been set up to select the content of this field.

Can you let me know where I am going wrong? It was working OK when there was only one page set up that had the form in it (so it was picking up the field OK, but now doesn't know which value to pick up).

I also followed the instructions on this post, but that didn't work, either.

Cheers,

Sandra

Hi, starting to use this plugin a lot now, is really great!
Having some problems with custom post types, I can get it to select in the form to add to a certain post type I choose in the list, I have the custom post type plugin for gravity forms. It shows the custom post type I have created that I want to add the data to, the form says it's sent successfully but when I view the custom post types it doesn't send the data to the custom fields .. like url, the image, etc .. I think the category is working ok, title and body but nothing else??

Any help greatly appreciated

http://www.nerdservice.co.uk/prototype3d/?page_id=56

This is the form I am using if it helps

Kind thanks

I'm in need of contest forms with an extra twist. The basic layout of the form is the same for every form, but the question type and the questions differ between forms.

Always the same
* Always 3 questions
* Always one address field
* Always one email field
* Always the same receiver

Different between forms
* Answer can be 1 of 3 radio buttons or a single text field answer
* Questions are different between forms

Since the site in question have quite a few contests per week. I would like to create the fields "on the fly" based on the set custom fields in the current post.

Tried doing something like this http://pastebin.com/0J1hz6Gd with Jetpack Contact Form (didn't work because of a bug in Jetpack and do_shortcode), but you might get the idea of what I am trying to achieve.

Is it possible to do something like this with Gravity Forms?

Hello, my site is ecommerce oriented and my theme uses wordpress custom fields to put prices for every product shown in the site.

Is there a way to dinamically populate GF price field with wordpress custom field (price)?

Here you can see the prices: http://goo.gl/R0eiC

And here you can see the GF with pricing field: http://fantastico.pe/tours/paracas-ica/

I need a form that accepts a few input fields and then on submit, injects those field values into an existing WordPress page, including the page title, tag line and any custom fields within the page body. Can this be done without requiring third party custom development?

Thanks

Hello,

1 - Here is a screenshot of the form I am referring to:
http://screencast.com/t/wtybC77Jl

2 - As you can see, we have multiple checkboxes in a single field entry, and we want to save them into a custom usermeta field: See screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/nGz8Ssoq

3 - However, in the Forms > User Registration admin screen the terms themselves (checkbox options) show up as individual options, with no option to store all of the checkbox data in a single field: See screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/RNBVtk4ceuMN

Can you please advise me on what the best way is to store data from an array of checkboxes into the usermeta, either as multiple keys or a serialized array?

Should i create a custom filter instead of using built in functions? If so, how do I save that when the form is submitted?

Any help you can provide will be most appreciated.

[ EDIT ] I am using:
Gravity Forms latest version (1.6.12)
User Reg. add-on V. 1.5.beta1

Note - I am a php programmer so custom coding options are most welcome ~ if this feature is already being worked on, it would be helpful to know what progress you have made so far. thx

I want the user to enter data one time

1. User logins into wordpress
2. Goes to add a Listing (Genesis/Agentpress child theme)
3. User enters title, content into the post body
4. In the Custom field section:
4a. When user enters data into the city field, for example, there is a custom taxonomy called
locations or state or even city, your modification will allow the user to select from the custom taxonomy the value desired, and assign that custom taxonomy value to the post and use the data in the posts custom field.
5. on update, the user can select to keep the value or change it to another value that they can select from the custom post taxonomy.

please contact me if you have experience, the time and understand what I am asking for.

I'm working on getting a PayPal donation form set up on a website for a political campaign. Per FEC requirements, I need to collect the Occupation and Employer of each person donating. I've got my form collecting this data correctly, but I'd like it to get passed to PayPal using either the "Custom" field or the "Option" fields, as described in this doc from PayPal: https://merchant.paypal.com/cms_content/US/en_US/files/merchant/collecting_fec_required_donor_data.pdf

Any idea on how I can get this data sent over to PayPal so the Treasurer doesn't get incredibly frustrated?

I have a form embeddend in all posts of a custom post type. In the form is a checkbox group ($field['22']) that is populated dynamically using gform_pre_submission. Its values are the usernames of any registered user who has commented on the post. This is working perfectly.

Obviously, depending on the number of people who comment, there could be anything from 1 to dozens of options available. I need to take the selected values ONLY and save them to a custom field.

I am using a function on gform_post_submission already with this form, and it's working fine for other fields, but I am not clear how to retrieve an array of selected values from this checkbox group to add to a custom field.

Good morning GF Team.
I’m hoping that someone can help me with some form bugs. I’ve tried and tried to figure out where they are coming from, but I’m failing badly. Anyhow, I’ve got some screenshots for you to take a look at. There are notes on the screenshots referencing the issues.
Here’s a quick list of the bugs I’m seeing:
-‘Page Title’ div being pushed upwards in the ‘Content’ div to the point where it becomes partially hidden and in some cases, completely hidden.
-Divider lines being added to odd areas.
-‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ buttons being positioned in odd places.
-Increased padding below the ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ buttons (only on the final page).

The first image in this set of links is of a good page to show what a page should look like on the site.
http://i33.tinypic.com/jsgdue.png

http://i38.tinypic.com/ioktmq.png

http://i35.tinypic.com/vyurrk.png

http://i38.tinypic.com/2dvosg7.png

Thanks again for any advice. I’ve triple checked my gf classes and haven’t done any css form styling what-so-ever yet, hope that helps.
