Hi,

I want to use GF MC addon to add people to different Mailchimp groups depending on the forms they are using.

When people use the forms and check the opt-in condition ('subscribe to the newsletter') everything works fine and the data is sent to mailchimp (name, email, group, etc.)

But, when people have ALREADY SUBSCRIBED to the newsletter, they don't check the opt-in condition (of course), so Gravity Form doesnt sent any data to Mailchimp... be it name, email, groups or anything.

How can I make sure GF always check if people are already subscribed and update their information (even when they don't check the "subscribe to newsletter" opt-in condition) ?

Thanks a lot.

Hello,
I have a two-fold question. First, for a logged-in user, when a user submits the form, is it possible to have the form automatically submit the user data (email address, name, etc.)?

Secondly, Is it possible to use this data to pre-populate portions of the form like email address, name, etc? Thanks!

Hi there,
I've researched, tried pretty much everything I can find/think of but I'm obviously missing a key piece of the puzzle. Here's what I've done.

Form One (redirects to form two)
In the Pass Field Data Via Query String field;
first={Recipients Name (First):62.3}&last={Recipients Name (Last):62.6}

Form Two
In the Allow field to be populated dynamically field;
Field Parameter Name
First - first
Last - last

URL works;
.../?first=Jason&last=Koning

However, when the notification email arrives the first & last name are blank.
This is what is in the notification;

Log in & view the credit card details for {Recipients Name (First):17.3} {Recipients Name (Last):17.6}'s Gift Voucher order;
{entry_url}

So it's either not accepting the fields, or it's not displaying them.
Help.
Please :)

not sure how to explain this, but if i have one form, which submits its info & then redirects the user to another form after submission, which they subsequently fill out and in turn is also submitted - is there some way to link those two form submissions together, so the recipient of the submissions can tell that both of the forms are from the same person?
like perhaps an auto generated number (order number for example) from the first form, being passed to the second form & included in that second forms submission.
make sense?

There's a massive need for the ability to keep data safe after capturing it.

GF does a fabulous job capturing it, but absolutely nothing to help keep it safe. Please add the ability to encrypt data fields with strong encryption (AES 256 or similar).

I want certain data fields stored in the database - encrypted.

Can the GF team please consider putting this on the list of things to do? People have been asking for encryption from you for years now - you can read multiple posts on this forum about it...

I'd pay for this type of "Official add-on" if it were available. I'd be willing to pay $1000 or more if necessary. Even as a Developer License only add-on.

No, I don't want some custom coding form some GF expert over at ODesk.com. I want something from the GF team so it'll be compatible with all future releases and it will just work with no custom "jury-rigging" of forms.

I have many clients with forms that need certain data fields encrypted (such as drivers license, or social security, etc.) and presently GF can't do it without going through all sorts of extra steps (custom code).

Can this functionality be added to the main GF interface?
~ I want to be able to select the field(s) to be encrypted on a form by form basis.
~ I want the fields to be encrypted in the database, but visible to the admin when he/she logs in.
~ Having the admin enter an extra (difficult) pass-phrase within the GF admin area in order to un-encrypt the secured data fields would be acceptable if that strengthened the security.

Any light at the end of this tunnel? Can we please get this feature?

Thanks

I am looking to use gravity forms to run contests essentially. I believe that we may have up to a half million entries in one form. Will the system still be able to export the CSV files on record sets that large? Have you experienced an upper limit?

My client is asking me why his form views are so high. We load a form in the sidebar on every page of his site so we expect a form view for every page hit, but he's had 15 site visitors since we cleared his view data and there have been over 600 form views. That would mean each of those 15 people hit over 40 pages which just is not possible. He's asking me if GF is differentiating between real visitors and bots from search engines.

It seems that this question has already been covered but I can't access to the answers as it is for members only.

I would like to use your gravity forms and save the data into my WP database but also send in real time the fields of the form to another url / 3rd party form (push).

And I would like this hack to keep working even after Gravity forms plugin updates since I have 16 WP.

Is it possible ? How ?

Thanks,

Hi,

So we're using the Polls app to allow people to vote for their favorite restaurants, studios, etc in a few categories. So one person voting will have an opportunity to vote on like 40 different things. We were wondering there was a way to look at all the data across each question. We've only seen the ability to look at individual entries.

Hi there,
I was wondering whether it is possible to export/transfer the data from entries directly into my Events Calendar Pro, WP Business Directory or AWPC plugins? Do I need to use hooks?
I was looking at http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gform_after_submission and the "posting submitted entry data to a third party application" part, but am not quite sure how to go about it, whether it is possible at all.
Any links/ hints/ advice would be fantastic.
Many thanks and any help is appreciated hugely
