having the same problem: other products w/o GF works fine, forms do nothing
WP 3.5.1
Gravity Forms: 1.7.2
woo 2.09
woo gravity 1.41
this is a mulitsite, deactivated all plugins, and went to 2011 theme, still same problem.
http://laborguild.com/donate/
Worked before upgrades.

I finally was able to achieve this using the GF Directory Add-On. I didn't see it mentioned in this thread. It will create a table of entries for a form that belong to the logged in user. You can then view the entry. If the useredit feature is enabled, a link is displayed at the bottom of the display to edit the entry, which then re-displays that entry populated in the form with an update button at the bottom. I did have to fix one problem (one line) that incorrectly had === instead of ==.

It isn't the prettiest system, but I finally got it to work (crossing fingers for not jinxing it now).

For what it's worth, I'd like a front end editor too!

Cheers

Which update did you perform? Are you using the latest version of WordPress and Gravity Forms?

I have three problems after doing an update.
1) In Woo Commerce my products with gravity forms are not working, you click the button to add to the cart and it doesn't do anything. My products with out the forms work fine. The products with gravity forms worked fine before the update.

2) Also in Woo Commerce the products that have forms are not recognizing the price field. Because of the problem above I tried deleting a form for the product and then adding it back and when I did it gave me an error saying I needed to add a price and the price was there. I also tried deleting it updating and then adding it and updating and it still gave me the error.

3) I have the Directory Addon and the directories are not showing up. I place the form on the page and the page and all text on that page are blank.

Please help, These are critical elements of our site.

As you have found, it is important to us, but our resources have been focused on the add-ons we already have and some smaller ones with vocal communities of people wanting to have them created. We are a small company, with less than ten people, including support, design, management, and so we can only develop so many new pieces so fast. We've made changes in 1.7 that will hopefully help make front-end editing easier to develop, but we haven't got there yet.

Editing entries from the front end is being considered for the 1.7 release. It's been discussed and we realize there is a desire and a need for it.

We do plan on implementing this functionality. .... this is high on our list and we plan on doing some really cool stuff as far as this goes.

Thanks for the update, Chris. That is disappointing news, to say the least.

As I dive into development to add/fix this much needed feature myself (and hoping I don't have to start hacking plugin code to do so), would you be willing to please satisfy my (our) curiosity as to why this is not a high priority for your development team?

To me, this is the only piece keeping your product from being the best plugin in it's class, on all counts!
