Any one else have this issue? I tried searching but could not find it. I have tried plugins but they are too limiting so now I'm turning to GF. A bit of flattery to oil the wheels, I think that GF is a beauty.</p> <p>I want users to register and have editorial control of their entries and I don't want them to be able to go anywhere near anything else.</p> <p>It's like a business directory but this is focused on social care agencies and other groups. Oranisations that provide services for disabled/disadvantaged people.</p> <p>I have tried the GF directory plugin but its a bit buggy and is making me go round and round.</p> <p>I think the first step is to get people to register. After that, use a form to populate a post that sits outside of the blog. My registration form allows the user to upload their resume to include in a members list page. I've also created a new update user action in the User Registration that allows the member to update their profile page including uploading an updated resume. The issue i'm having is when the user updates their profile, it creates a new entry in the update profile page instead of updating the entry they currently have in the database. If I go to the entries in the admin it displays the updated profile as a new entry instead of updating the old entry. I'm not sure if this is how the plugin is supposed to work if so, how do I access the latest information for the member. I really hope all of this made sense.</p> <p>Any help is greatly appreciated. </p>
