I hope David,
I've searched long time for this solution, and now it's really easy to implement. Many thanks for releasing the "Calculation" option, and also thanks to David from Gravity Wiz for his {subtotal} snippet!

Hello folks,
I just want to share a nice solution for a percentage discount with promo codes.

Just use this snippet by GravityWiz: http://gravitywiz.com/subtotal-merge-tag-for-calculations/

I've explained in details how to do it in this comment: http://gravitywiz.com/subtotal-merge-tag-for-calculations/#comment-58378

Quite easy actually :)

Good evening, I'm developing a website for a newly-created non-profit that is currently obtaining their 501(c)(3) designation. Is this organization entitled to any special pricing?

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

Just getting started with GF and I'm enjoying it so far. My situation is as follows: I have a form that takes registrations for a childrens summer camp. In addition to contact information, I've created an option field with several weeks that the parents can choose from. Each week has a price associated with it, with the curve ball that if the user selects four or more weeks they get a 10% discount.

In addition, my client would like the ability to offer the choice of paying in full now, or paying a $50 deposit with the rest to be invoiced later.

I attempted the 10% discount using some sample code I found that computed tax, but apparently that may no longer be necessary as GF offers computations, so please let me know if I'm making this overly difficult. The other option that I'm stuck on is how to accommodate the whole discount vs. full payment thing. Thanks in advance!

I think I worked out half of how this can be done. I set the User Meta in the User Registration Settings to fill one field with the user role using wp_user_level. Will that work? Not sure as the user role is not set before the form is submitted...

If that works, then I have the next question: Can I use IF THEN ELSE in a calculation field, e.g.
(IF {User Role:9}="Level1" THEN "10" ELSE IF {User Role:9}="Level2" THEN "20" ELSE IF {User Role:9}="Level3" THEN "30" ELSE "0") * ...

Thanks
Alexander
