Hi everyone,

Just getting started with GF and I'm enjoying it so far. My situation is as follows: I have a form that takes registrations for a childrens summer camp. In addition to contact information, I've created an option field with several weeks that the parents can choose from. Each week has a price associated with it, with the curve ball that if the user selects four or more weeks they get a 10% discount.

In addition, my client would like the ability to offer the choice of paying in full now, or paying a $50 deposit with the rest to be invoiced later.

I attempted the 10% discount using some sample code I found that computed tax, but apparently that may no longer be necessary as GF offers computations, so please let me know if I'm making this overly difficult. The other option that I'm stuck on is how to accommodate the whole discount vs. full payment thing. Thanks in advance!

Is there any way to allow the customer to add a discount code for the PayPal add-on (I am doing a subscription based site). E.g. A customer would input a code like "ef091w" and then you could set a discount percentage and it would be applied with the said discount code (kind of a like a coupon)?

Good evening, I'm developing a website for a newly-created non-profit that is currently obtaining their 501(c)(3) designation. Is this organization entitled to any special pricing?

Is there any way to base a price calculation field on the the user role of a logged in user?

We want to give a 10% discount to our members in level 1, 20% to the members in level 2 and 30% to members in level 3.

Any thoughts on how I could achieve that?

Hi,
After reviewing the forums, it seems that the form is able to do calculations. However, I was wondering if the option exisited for a percentage discount added in to the calculation. Not like a promo code, but say the customer selects a couple of packages. If the total is over some dollar amount, there is a set % discount applied.

I'm a wedding photographer and would like to use this plugin to allow users to customize packages. I would like for it to start with a base package than they can add in additional items. If their total package is over some dollar amount, there total is discounted by some percentage.

Is this currently possible?

Thanks.

For all of you looking to use promo codes....

Using the new conditional logic, I've implemented a basic promo code system. I create a product with a negative dollar amount and show it if the promo code field equals a given value. It's manual, but works for me!

Hello,

We want to do a relative simple thing. We sell Events and we want to offer following combinations:

1.- CHOOSE AN EVENT:

o Event A = 100 EUR
o Event B = 120 EUR

There should be a discount if customer choose Event A + Event B (In this case 200 EUR, 20€ discount)

2.- PAYING TOTAL AMOUNT NOW or MAKE A RESERVATION?

(a) I Pay Total Now. Total = (Event A or Event B or Event A+B - Discount)
(b) I Pay 50% Reservation Now. Total = (Event A or Event B or Event A+B) / 2

I don't know:

3.- how to parse choices from Optión 1 to (a) or (b)
4.- how to parse (a) or (b) to be the total Price.

Hi,

I've got two short questions:

1) Do I understand it correctly that 60 days after the license expiration a renewal is actually the same as buying a new license?

2) Is it possible to renew and pay in advance for multiple years, e.g. 5 years?

Thanks in advance,

grtz
