I went and added this to the bottom of gravityforms/css/formsmain.css. It works perfectly. If I upodate a new version of Gravity forms, will this be lost? Is there a way to add this permanently? I made sure to enable ajax when embedding the form in the page, I'm not sure if this matters. I have tried removing everything except wp_footer(); from the footer, and all scripts from the header; have reverted to jQuery 1.8.3; just upgraded to the latest version of Gravity Forms; uninstalled and reinstalled Gravity Forms; made sure no other versions of jQuery are running - properly deregistered and reregistered jQuery in the functions.php file. I haven't yet upgraded WordPress to 3.5.1. We are currently running 3.4.1 and unfortunately I cannot upgrade at the moment without backup and approval. We have a lot of stuff running on the site and cannot afford to break anything right now potentially from a WP upgrade. Maybe I can revert to an older version of Gravity Forms? I don't know if there is an issue in the latest version. In the Gravity Forms settings, however, there is a checkmark (indicator of OK) next to WordPress 3.4.1, as well as PHP 5.2, which we are using for right now (I upgraded to 5.3 to see if this would fix the issue, and it didn't, so I reverted because we need 5.2 for some things right now). So, I was wondering if anyone has anything else I can try, or may be willing to look at the code we have and see if you can find any potential errors. Also, the form displays properly in preview mode. The problem is that field doesn't display on the form until one of the other form fields is checked. It's acting like there's a conditional logic setting configured, but nothing is set. I thought I should share it with the community. Goal: provide a webform with a file upload field, and then convert the submitted entry to a Post. In the post, show the uploaded file in a custom download box with a download icon, or if there was no file upload submitted, do not show the download box. Solution: Setup 5 fields in the form: (1) a Yes/No radio button field for "Upload a File?" set to "No" default; (2) a Custom field set to Upload File, with a condition to display if #1 is Yes; (3) a Custom Field set to Admin view only with a default value set to "upload" (without the quot marks and no period before it - this is a custom CSS I created in the master style sheet that forms the Download box and icon). This field is set to a condition to display if #1 is "Yes", but since it is an Admin Only field, it doesn't actually display in the form to the user; (4) Another Custom Field, same as #3, except with a default value of "hide" (a CSS class set to display:none) and a condition to display with #1 as a "No". (5) a Post Body field, set to Admin Only, with Merge tags from other fields, including the following <code><div class="{Admin Only - Hide upload if none selected:26}{Admin Only - Display if file uploaded:27}"><a href="{File upload:20}"><img src="http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/textdoc_tn.png" />Download Supporting Documentation</a></div> [embed]{Post your YouTube link here:23}[/embed]</code> The trick: The merge tags above for Custom Fields #3 and #4 are set to insert either the "upload" or "hide" class into the display div class depending on which Yes/No selection is made. Note that the default value in #3 and #4 is just the class name WITHOUT the period in front of it. BTW, the [embed] section is a single line text field for users to copy/paste a YouTube URL into it, which publishes it in the post. Even though WP has the embed parsing capabilities built-in, it doesn't work without these shortcode tags added around the merge tag. If there is a more poetic way of doing this, please add a comment. After a form submitted, before creating a post draft how do I check if a user has got my custom capability? Our in-house graphics department would like a form that people can fill out to request new business cards (if they run out, or change departments, etc). Normally they fill out a paper form, the artist creates a preview of how their card will look, and emails it to them. Could I do something similar with Gravity forms? Capturing the data is simple enough, but is there a way to create a "preview" before the form is submitted? It wouldn't even have to be styled in any special way, even just a literal display of what they entered (not an image), some sort of "are you sure?" statement, THEN the actual submit button. Basically, just a way for them to confirm the data before submitting it? Is there any mechanism in GF to do something similar? Can anyone point me the right direction?
