I've seen several posts which have eluded to being able to edit entries from the front-end like:

http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/edit-entries-within-web-frontend

Was this released in the most recent version 1.7 or will it be included in the next?

Thanks,

Hello,

We are running Wordpress 3.5.1 with Gravity Forms 1.7.6 on IIS7. PHP error reporting is on but no major issues are being logged. For what it's worth we didn't notice the issue until migrating the environment into our production environment.

When trying to edit a few of the forms on the site the edit page never stops loading, and the options to edit/move/delete a field (or add another field) are totally unavailable. This happens rather arbitrarily, and we've been unable to consistently duplicate the issue, but it seems to only occur on longer forms (10+ fields) but not in all cases.

The issue originally popped up on a form with conditional fields, and fields dynamically populated. Thinking it may have something to do with conditional fields we rebuilt a form without, but the issue reappeared.

Disabling Javascript through Chrome or Firefox developer tools does not solve the issue. This signals the issue is not related to a Jquery conflict (nor does enabling or disabling "No Conflict" mode make a difference.)

We have increased PHP's memory limit to 256MB, and redefined Wordpress' memory limit in wp-config as so:
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');
define('WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Incidentally, the only partial, but untenable, solution is to restart the web-server while the page is spinning. Once the server hiccups the page stops loading and the ability and interface to add/edit/move/delete is restored.

Here's a link to a demonstration of what we're talking about... https://www.dropbox.com/s/c2tduehasxxk6qg/gravity-forms-issue.mov -- notice the field-edit interface appears on the Reserve Now form (00:00:13), but does not on the Brochure Request form (00:00:25.)

Any help or direction very much appreciated!

I have a form that I use to collect data from customers. The form was built prior to the release of the survey/poll add-ons. I would like to change certain radio/checkbox fields in this form to radio/checkbox poll or survey fields so that I can use the functionality of those features.

The issue I'm having is that I need to use this particular form (let's call it Form 1) because that is the form my payment forms link up to, and I also have tools that pull certain data from this form based on the field ID number (long story).

I know enough to export a form's xml file, edit the question properties, and then import it back, but importing the revised xml file creates a new form. What I need to do is edit the xml file in Form 1 and then save the changes so that the new changes are reflected within Form 1.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance!

I have two active forms on http://www.boarddiversity.com.au: contact and job vacancies.

Entries for the contact form can be edited via the dashboard, but trying to edit any entries from the jobs form results in a 404 error.

I have upgraded the theme (Nova by Elegant Themes), updated all plugins (s2member, Gravity Forms Directory, Widget Context, Shortcode Redirect to Shortcode, Video Embed & Thumbnail generator). I have also deactivated all plugins except Gravity Forms and switched to the Twenty Twelve theme to see if that helps, but I'm still getting the same problem.

Can you help?

Hi,

Is it possible to remove/change/add parts from the advanced fields?

f.e. the name field has four fields but i dont need the prefix field. Can i delete it somewhere?

Otherwise i'll have to create three text fields (first name, last name, suffix).

Thanks!

I have updated to the most up to date version of gravity forms, but I am still unable to edit fields. I am able to add, duplicate, and delete new fields, but when I try to edit them, nothing happens. After doing some investigating I found that it is a javascript error, but I have no idea how to fix it. This is the error that I get:

Uncaught TypeError: Object function (test_var) {
var r = this.indexOf(test_var, 0);
return (r!=undefined && (r != -1)) ;
} has no method 'split'

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,

I would like to be able to have logged in admins be able to add comments to already submitted forms. I would also like these comment fields to be conditional (ie: if user name is "fred" then fred only gets his own comments fields.) I can't see if there is a way to add such a conditional to the edit complete form section of the back end? Is this possible either with an extra plugin or with the system as is?

cheers

Hello,

I need to store a logo / image for a user when registering or editing user profile. I also need to have edit / upload capability in the admin side of WP.

I've checked Justin Tadlock's tutorial for custom user meta, but couldn't see the support for an image upload.

What's the best way to do it?
Many thanks, Dasha

I am brand new. I think GF has a lot of great features so far. But I can't figure out how to do this:
(by the way, this is different from my question in the user registration forum).

A head of household creates a an account (WP) on the site.
They then create a registration record for themselves and each member of their family.
They can then edit each registration record for members of their family.

Then, they can log in, and they can sign up for events. The events will allow them to specify which members of their family will attend.

I am pretty sure this can be done, but reading through all the support threads, etc, I am confused as to how to accomplish this. The family registration/edit procedure is the most confusing. I think once I get that down, I can try the examples to pre-populate the forms to select family members, etc.

Would anyone be willing to help me step through this?
