Hi There,

I just purchased the basic Gravity Forms option a few days ago. I'm trying to build a sign-up form for my live bands/live music website (affordaband.co.uk), where instead of new bands emailing me from my website, instead they can click on a sign-up link on my site, and input all their live band details there - band name, biography, photos, mp3's, video clips etc.. I need them to input the data, then click "SUBMIT", where I get an alert that says PUBLISH, and then I can approve, or make changes, I click PUBLISH, and it becomes a nice formatted page (or post) added to a certain area on my Wordpress site. But my webguy can't figure it out, and I've got no chance. Please help!!!

Thanks Heaps,
Stu

I'm having an issue getting the form to submit:

http://scottlasserbooks.com/contact/

I've installed this like I have previously, but it is not working. I do not get a confirmation message, warning that I didn't fill out fields, nor does it submit either to email or the entries section in the backend. I've already followed the steps of deactivating theme, activating 2010 and testing. I also deactivated all plugins and still get the same results.

Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi

I just tried installing gravity forms, but once i clicked activate i got Wordpress database error: mysql has gone away.

I then click on pages, and everything is gone. I have to delete the plugin to see the pages/posts again and it really makes admin slow down and lag

Here is a screenshot for the error.
http://i.imgur.com/6S0wgqk.png

Ive tried deleting and reinstalling, tho the error isnt showing anymore but it still removes all posts/pages until i re delete the plugin.

Any help much appreciated
Thanks

Hello,

I have been using the User Registration add-on from some time, since 1.2 I think.

I have always been updating it on my project and since now I have had no problems. As it is so good.

However my Wordpress network multisite install uses the email address form field to populate both the username and email fields in the User Registration Add-On.

Since updating to 1.5 I now cannot validate forms because my email form field is prompted by this message: Only lowercase letters (a-z) and numbers are allowed.

I cannot revert to using non-email usernames as my client wishes it to be this way.

I checked your changelog.txt file to see if you purposely done this and I cannot see any notes of this change, and am now stuck what to do. Can't seem to find anyone online with the same problem.

I have reverted back to 1.4 but after checking out your changelog in 1.5, I would really like to be using 1.5.

Can you help?

Many thanks

Hi

I'm putting a form together for a client and he's complained that the error message (which appears, as it should, if someone submits the form incorrectly) is buried at the base of the page. I must say i agree with him.

Is it possible to have a pop-up error message (ideal) or, if not, at least position the error message at the top of the page in bigger text. If these alternatives are possible, how are they done?

I have purchased the personal license activated gravity forms and uploaded my support key. I also have created a page with a user submission form with post custom fields and a page to view the submissions. Whenever I try to view either page however I get the following message "please provide a valid activation key"

Does this mean I need to upgrade my license or is there something else wrong?

I have two active forms on http://www.boarddiversity.com.au: contact and job vacancies.

Entries for the contact form can be edited via the dashboard, but trying to edit any entries from the jobs form results in a 404 error.

I have upgraded the theme (Nova by Elegant Themes), updated all plugins (s2member, Gravity Forms Directory, Widget Context, Shortcode Redirect to Shortcode, Video Embed & Thumbnail generator). I have also deactivated all plugins except Gravity Forms and switched to the Twenty Twelve theme to see if that helps, but I'm still getting the same problem.

Can you help?

I am getting an error with the below code, when using a form with ajax. I am using version 1.7.5

jQuery('#gform_wrapper_1').replaceWith('<' + 'div id='gforms_confirmation_message' class='gform_confirmation_message_1'' + '>' + confirmation_content + '<' + '/div' + '>');

The error says Expected ')'.

I assume it's because the forward slashes aren't escaped properly?
