Is there anything that already exists or works to allow users to register using their Facebook or Twitter accounts with the user registration add-on? I need to capture basic registration info (email, username, real name, password), then physical address. Could do this in a multipart/multipage form, with the first page capturing the registration/FB connect data, then the second capturing address- any thoughts/suggestions?

Hi - i LOVE this plug-in - i use it for competitions and polls on a Face book application we've built for a client - does everytihng we want it to do!

I do have one question however - in the Facebook application we have, the user usually comes into the competitiions page connected so that we have access to their email and basic inforamtion at that stage - what would be fantastic would be if their were some sort of FB connect add-on to gravity forms so that this basic information could be populated into the fields (name, email for example) automatically?

Are there any such features?

Thanks for your time and well done on this product!

Hi, before purchasing i would like to know if it's possible this scenario for a wordpress website created only for register users and then give them, after registration, the possibility to complete a survey created with gravity forms.

The first step would be to open the front page where both manual registration and Facebook connect will be available as registration options for the user.

After registration a redirect will bring the user to the survey created with Gravity Forms: the survey must associate for each user his seurvey results and his personal data retrieved by the registration or the facebook connect registration.

The survey could not be done if the user isn't registered.

I've to collect for each user his registration data and his survey results.

Is that possible with gravity forms?
I've seen the Survey addon, that could make possible the survey creation if i don't get wrong, but i don't know if it's possible to associate with the survey all the data retrieved by a registration with facebook connect.

Thanks for the support.

Forms are build to interact with the users of your website. If you use Gravityforms for user generated content or for a contact form, there is a key element missing for building relations and dialogue with your users in 2013.

Users still can not submit a form using their social media accounts. Not necessary to register as user, just to submit the form and autofill some -hidden- fields.

There are existing plugins to be used on comments, see example: http://bit.ly/LY9si4
Why would that not be possible on submitting a Grafityform?

Benefits:
For user generated content it will increase traffic due to auto posting on the contributor's wall.
For contact forms it will be a more secure way to identify the sender instead of those terrible captchas.

I believe it is possible to have users submit a Gravityform using their social media account. And I also believe Gravityforms and the community of users, developers and team are able to make that happen.

Can anyone share some idea's, other benefits and/or codes for this necessary add-on?

So, I'm working with someone on creating a voting page for Best of the city. As part of the SEO, we were asked to include share buttons on the results page that allow someone to share the items they voted for. We've been using addThis and the script for it is a couple lines of js. My php knowledge is limited but I don't mind having to customize the plugin and I do have resources. Is there an efficient way to do this?

Social sharing buttons for sharing a quiz URL would be a huge asset for the Quiz Add-on.

The way I envisage them is that the share buttons would appear at the end of the quiz, e.g. in a confirmation message, and would share the quiz URL. It would also be great to have the option for users to share their quiz score, too.

I've tried adding my own to the Confirmation Message on the current version of the Quiz Add-on, without success, and I would love that feature to be included.

Having the option of sharing individual quiz results could be good to implement some viral strategies...

Maybe GF could be even used for building facebook quiz apps!

I would like to know if GF integrates well with Facebook Connect out of the box.
I want to embed it on FB tab and when fans register, GF pulls email and data automatically.

I click on Similar Topics link but cannot see the discussion.

Thanks
