Hello GF Team,

I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue my client is having with GoDaddy Web-Based Email not using the Notification to Administrator's Reply-To field that I have programmed to use the 'Email' field from each form submission. Whenever someone submits the form and the administrator receives the notification, if they click the Reply button in their GoDaddy email, it fills in their (the administrators) email address instead of the email from the form submission. I believe it may be using the From field email address from the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin settings.

What's really frustrating is that I believe Gravity Forms is performing correctly, because whenever I have the form administrator notification sent to my personal Gmail account instead of their GoDaddy account, and I hit the Reply button, it pulls the email address from the 'Email' field in the form submission, which is what I want it to do for them in GoDaddy as well.

Another thing to note is that this was working for months. I asked them when did they notice the change and they stated it was as of a couple weeks ago. Nothing has been changed to their settings for at least 5 or 6 months, so I'm starting to think that maybe GoDaddy changed something that's causing it to require the Reply To email address be the actual email address it was sent from as opposed to the Email address from the form submission. Have you heard of anyone else having similar issues recently with GoDaddy Web-Based Email or otherwise?

My client was on an older version of GF until today, when I updated them to v.1.6.2. However, updating didn't help either.

Thoughts?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Hiya,

I've just noticed that my email notifications are no longer working - I switched to a DreamHost VPS (although I'm not sure if they stopped working before or after the switch)... any idea what to do? I've checked all the settings and don't remember changing anything since they were last working a few months ago (although I have recently updated gravity forms and switched from a developer license to a personal license)...

Page in question: http://www.foodfortranslators.com/content-submissions/

Thanks,

I'm trying to create an interactive form for my personal website. One where I'll be able to put in a question and have the option of using radio buttons, check boxes, text boxes, and then some sort of a submit button where at the end of the form, the response will be emailed to me. I plan to put two different forms in the website which is hosted by GoDaddy.com. Does the Personal Gravity Form reach these simple functions or no? My initial problem was that I created a form but it isn't compatible with all pdf files like preview, adobe, openoffice, etc. it would only work for certain programs and not for others so I was hoping that gravity forms would solve my problems. Can you help or give any further advice?

I have a form with around 40 radio button fields and 200 product fields. These are all using conditional logic. The form takes a very long time to load in the admin, if it loads at all. Same holds true for the front end of the site. So, is my form to long or what? Previously I was using html fields instead of product fields, and it worked fine. Any thoughts?

Site is not public.

We've got a form which went live this morning, which is getting loads of entries and it's critical that it works correctly. The form is at http://www.moving-4-ward.com/register/register-for-the-industry-forum/

The form seems to have issues with certain email addresses. When I try and sign up with the following information, the form returns error 324 and there is no response from the server.

Name: Robert Nagel
Company: SNC Lavalin Transportation USA
Address: 13901 Sutton Park Drive South
Suite 200
Jacksonville, Florida 32224
Phone: 9044773765
Email: Robert.nagel@snclavalin.com

The entry is recorded in Gravity Forms, however, the email address is not forwarded to iContact (I'm using the iContact plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-icontact/ - I tried removing the feed from this form, but it didn't affect it). If I change the email address however, it goes through OK.

It is critical that these forms are up and running ASAP. Any ideas on what the issue might be?

We haven't had this issue until recently. When someone submits a form, it is set up to forward to our dispatch e-mail. However, lately they have been coming in several hours late and it seems to be at random. Sometimes they're really late, and sometimes it is immediately. Any ideas?

I have posted on this problem once before and has been closed. You can find it Here.

I have tried to use the SMTP plug-in you guys recommended. I get it to work sometimes and I try to use it again and it doesn't work. No settings or files were changed between each try. The php mail() function does not work either.

I have also contacted my host (GoDaddy) and they tested the php formmailer and it worked fine on their end with the default scripts they provide. I also asked if there was anything blocking the emails (spam filter) and they said no. I also reloaded the default scripts and that didn't solve any issues there.

So I then proceeded to turn off all other plug-ins and revert the the default theme on the site. SMTP and the php() mail function still did not work after that.
The site is on a sub-domain and I tried to move around the scripts so that there was no issue with any URL/scripting path(s).

Submissions on the form are showing up on the site, the emails are just no getting sent out or are not getting delivered. I really think it is an issue with the GoDaddy server, but nothing apears wrong on their end so they can not do anything really to help.

I am at a dead end here. I do not want to mess too much with the php code or scripts myself. If it is possible, can I get someone to look at the site to help me with this issue. We are willing to hire out anyone at Gravity Forms that is willing to help with this issue.

Since 10-18-12 I have not received a email notification for any forms that have been filled out. The user notification email is also not being sent out. I can look up the submitted form post on the admin end of the word press log-in. I recently (10-19-12) updated to the most current version of gravity forms on the site. I tried to resent the admin notification emails for a couple of these forms. We did not ever receive them.

We are having users log-in to the WordPress site to submit info to us. When the are finished filling out the form and hit submit, the form is sent to the specified user and admin notification emails. We have about 70 users, most of which log-in daily to submit 3 or 4 different forms. It is vital that I get this working again.

Some other info is that we are using word press version 3.4.2. and array of other plug-ins. I have deactivated all the other plug-ins and tried to resend the admin notifications again. This still resulted in error.

The list of plug-ins I am using are as follows:

Admin SSL Version 2.0-b2 | By BCG
BM Custom Login Version 1.6.6 | By Ben Gillbanks
Configure Login Timeout Version 1.0 | By Nathan Vonnahme
Genesis Footer Version 0.1.1 | By WPChildThemes
Genesis Simple Hooks Version 1.8.0.2 | By Nathan Rice
Gravity Forms Version 1.6.8.1 | By rocketgenius
Select Peter's Login Redirect	Peter's Login Redirect Version 2.6.0 | By Peter
Role Scoper Version 1.3.57 | By Kevin Behrens

I hope I get this cleared up soon, it is extremely important that it is working.

Thanks for all your help!

Hi,

I realize this is part RTFQ but I'm having problems with email notifications not sending. It's suddenly not working as of right now.

I'm also on Godaddy Hosting as well. They recommended me to just change the SMTP server to relay. Test emails from the SMTP works but the emails from Gravity forms don't.

Any other places I can check? Any ideas how to call boneheaded GoDaddy and tell them it's their issue?

Example form below.
https://lonelybrand.com/blog/white-paper-landing-page-guide-2013/

Hi there

I've just moved a site from a development domain to a live domain and now any forms that used the campaign monitor add-on are not working.

Forms which are not using the add on are working fine.

If I go to admin.php?page=gf_addons I get a message of "Add-On browser is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

If I go to plugins the "Gravity Forms Campaign Monitor Add-On" plugin says "Register your copy of Gravity Forms to receive access to automatic upgrades and support. Need a license key? Purchase one now."

I have re-copied and pasted the key from my account and re saved it, I've disabled and re-enabled the plugin, I've deleted the key, disabled the plugin, re-enabled the plugin and re-pasted the key. In fact, no matter what I do, it puts a tick beside the "Support License Key" input. Even if I type 'asdasda' into it and hit Save Settings, the page reloads with the same length of password dots and the tick is there.

I don't know what else to do, but I can't launch the site as it is now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've also tried the Gravity Forms Meta Recovery tool but that didn't help. I'm quite stuck.
