Im using the newest version or gravity forms 1.6.12 and when I add the check boxes option to a form it doesn't have the option for no duplicates. How can I restore that functionality?

We have a gravity form set up for people to choose a time slot. It's set as not allowing duplicates entries, but we can't figure out how to have the entry show as being taken. Is there css logic that would do this?

Hi,
What's the best way to display % and $ in input fields of custom_field type? Ideally the $ and % should be dropped before recording in DB.

The Wiz solution for $ is good but works only with post text fields no custom fields.

Thanks,
Youssef

Great work on the User Registration 1.5 beta! I have what i hope is a simple feature request.

I'd like to be able to use a single form to create a user (with an auto-generated password), and rather than error out on duplicate username and email address, to ignore that the user already exists, and just set the user id as if a new user had been created.

I'm trying to combine the process of user registration and new post creation attributed to that user. I'd like existing users to be able to use the same form without previously logging in or even being aware they have an account.

Thanks!

my client needs a way for their vendors to select from a list of 20 products to be shipped to a specific location, but there is no pricing or financial transactions at all. Just a system to choose the product (add to cart) and where to ship it. Can Gravity do that?

Hi,

Has anyone created a GF plugin to truly validates email addresses? I've found code out there that will do it, like this:

https://code.google.com/p/php-smtp-email-validation/

The code basically attempts to see if the email address is valid on the user's mail host. I can see why this might not be good (network delays, etc). But, in my case, we want to validate email addresses of people at one organization (Wheaton College).

If noone has done this, could you point me in the right direction for doing so? Should this be an entirely new kind of field in GF, or is it possible to add an option to the existing email field?

thanks.

I've created a website for a university that has user registration via a form with an email field. The university hands out email addresses to all it's students ending in @rwcmd.ac.uk.

Is it possible to limit the people that can register on the site that only have an email address ending in @rwcmd.ac.uk?

I am using Gravity Forms and the PayPal add-on for event registration. I would to be able to conditionally remove the form from the registration page and replace it with some text such "SOLD OUT".

I was thinking that I could use the gform_paypal_post_ipn hook to update a counter in the database that would keep track of PAID registrations. Then I would create a template for the registration page where via PHP I could load the Gravity Form OR the"SOLD OUT" text depending on the value of the counter. Will this work? Would I just load the form via a shortcode? Not sure how to proceed. Thx for any direction.
