Hey guys,

I'm sure you're slammed right now with 1.7 upgrade issues. Thanks for taking a minute to help me out. I appreciate it.

I'm using the gform_enqueue_scripts hook to add a simple script to add html5 placeholder support to a form, which is loosely based on this tutorial: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-placeholder-text-in-gravity-forms/

I'm using the ajax submit feature. When I submit a form with errors, it looks like my custom script is injected into the iframe, which then throws an error due to jQuery not being loaded in the iframe.

Is there a way to prevent my script from loading/enqueueing in the iframe? Or is there a way to load jQuery in the iframe?

Sorry I don't have a link for you. I'm developing a site locally, but will upload it by end of day PST if I am able.

Thanks!

I have a site on which there are a number of pages which are not in wordpress but are wordpress enabled. These pages use the same footer include and sidebar include as the wordpress section of the site. Widgets work fine in them.

I have used a widget to display a newsletter sign up form (with Ajax confirmation) in the footer, and this works fine in as much as the form is there. It works in the WordPress section, but not in the other pages.

I am assuming this is due to the form action being the current page, a page not within WP.

I know I can use an iframe, but this would involve now having two footers, and whole new set of sidebars for the non-wordpress pages. Is there any other way to get it to work?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Hi there: I have spent a couple hours here trying to find out why an embedded form stopped working after conditional logic was applied. I got close to an answer but it did not solve my problem.

I am hoping for some advice on this form http://www.sixteenfront.com/contactUs.php. It is a stand alone form using an iframe. The form works great until I introduce conditional logic. Any ideas on how I can get this form working with conditional logic?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Hi,

I have an empty iframe in my page source and have traced it to Gravity Forms(deactivating gravity forms fixes it). I did a search and found this:
http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/iframe-code-in-page-source

but, I never had ajax turned on for the form that displays in the sites footer anyway.

Any ideas how I can remove this? It's creating a gap below my footer and the bottom of the browser that I need to remove asap.

thanks!

Quick question. Can I use gravity forms somehow on site without wordpress?

I dont really like or need wordpress on my site.. in fact I have working website and only thing I need are easy made forms with calculations. Gravity feels like perfect solution for me, I didnt find any alternatives. But I just cant / dont want to use wordpress on my main site.

Is there a way to embed or inframe Gravity forms to another website, if I will lets say install wordpress on subdomen? Tell me its possible and Im your customer.

Thanks for all answers

jb510 on "Dynamically populate metadata into iframe form on another site on multisite"

I need to pop-up a form across a dozen sites, so I'm doing it with and iframe as described here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/creating-a-modal-form-with-gravity-forms-and-fancybox/ (took way to long to find that after a dozen threads asking about shared multi-site forms).

I need to dynamically populate fields with metadata from single custom post being currently being displayed when the form is popped open. I've used parameters before based on this: http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Using_Dynamic_Population to do that, but is that going to work with this iframe stuff?

I don't want to setup all the iframe, modal, forms and then discover I can't get fields dynamically populated.

So viewer is currently on site 43 viewing a post with post_id 123. I pop open a modal with an iframed form, that form is actually on site 1. Will that form get the parameters from that post_id 123 currently being viewed on site 43?

Hi all.

Fantastic looking plugin, but before purchasing GF I wanted to find out if the following is possible.

What I am looking to do is use a main site with GF installed to create a form. I want to be able to embed this form on the main site, but also on other sites (on separate domains). I understand this can be done using iframes, but wanted to find out if there was another method to do the same thing without using iframes?

I have noticed there is a similar topic in discussion in one of the other forums, but I cannot access that due to forum permissions so thought I'd ask again in the pre-sales forum.

Thanks,
Rob
