I know that this feature has already been requested, but I can't find an open forum post to add my support for this feature to, so I've created a new one. I bought gravity forms specifically to allow users to upload images to be printed on showercurtains, and am using it in conjunction with woocommerce, but the file size required to get good resolution takes too long to upload without a progress bar and users are leaving the page before getting to the checkout page. A progress bar is a must, and a thumbnail preview would be nice too. Is the progress bar coming out anytime soon?

Multi-page questionnaire, where I show two images & ask user to like one.

From past posts, I was able to figure out that I can show 2 images as options of radio button - using html <img /> inside label of radio button.

What I want now is make these images clickable . I want to bypass clicking of "Next" or "submit" button. As sson as user clicks on one of the image option, I wan to take user to next set of question.

(Newbie help: I posted same question in priority support. I got email with partial answer. How do I get back to history of my priority response ? I replied email with followup question but it went un-answered. )

Hello,

I'm saving an image via File Upload field and it's path is stored in user metadata. So far so good.
I now need to grab that image and resize it. I'm trying to do it with wp_get_image_editor() as following:
$image = wp_get_image_editor( $file );
where $file is the correct path to the image.

However, this returns the following error:

[0] => WP_Error Object
                        (
                            [errors] => Array
                                (
                                    [invalid_image] => Array
                                        (
                                            [0] => File is not an image.
                                        )

                                )

                            [error_data] => Array
                                (
                                    [invalid_image] => http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/gravity_forms/13-37ec33fbff5089a494d9ad0574a67403/2013/05/la-fitness.jpg
                                )

                        )

Any idea what might be wrong? Maybe I need to pass mime type to wp_get_image_editor()? I don't know how to do it.

I would hugely appreciate any help.

Many thanks,
Dasha

Hello,
After updating to 1.7 my form started to work weird. Its "Image" type field is set to make uploaded image featured for the post created by the form, but it does it just partly. After submitting the post data (along with the image), image does appear in "Thumbnail" column at WP Dashboard, but when you go to Edit Post screen featured image metabox shows that it is not set.
What happened, could GF developers fix this?

I have gravity forms setup to auto post the form as a post . http://www.officialplanking.com . alot of people need to upload via mobile. I have tried all mobile packs for wordpress and none even display the form. On desktop version the upload is blacked out. Is there anyway to allow mobile users (iphone android) to upload their photo onto the form!? Thanks and i will donate to anyone who figures this out.

Hello,

I need to store a logo / image for a user when registering or editing user profile. I also need to have edit / upload capability in the admin side of WP.

I've checked Justin Tadlock's tutorial for custom user meta, but couldn't see the support for an image upload.

What's the best way to do it?
Many thanks, Dasha

Hi

Can you tell if GF has the ability to create a Buddypress User Registration form which incorporates an uploader so a new member can add their user avatar at the signup stage, just like Facebook?

Thanks
