I have gravity forms installed on two word press installations on the same site. (I know multisite wordpress is the way to go, but this is not possible at this time.) The IPN Paypal settings are different for each installation. The first works fine, however the second does not work. The form goes directly to the thank you page. i read the support issues on this that state it does not matter if the IPN is different in gravity forms, but it seems that this is the issue. please advise. thank you

Sounds like there is a communication error between your web host and PayPal. Can you check with your host to see if any inbound or outbound traffic between you and PayPal is being blocked for any reason?

I have a function that adds credits to a users account when they purchase credits via a Gravity Forms form. This has been working fine until a transaction came in today where the payment status hasn't changed from Processing and there is no transaction information.

I enabled the logging addon and resent the IPN and get the following error

DEBUG --> Response: WP_Error Object
(
    [errors] => Array
        (
            [http_request_failed] => Array
                (
                    [0] => couldn't connect to host
                )

        )

    [error_data] => Array
        (
        )

)

ERROR --> IPN request could not be verified by PayPal. Aborting.

Any idea what could be causing this?

There is no built-in way to recreate that link in Gravity Forms. I've looked for the same feature. In my case, for the incomplete transactions, I just sent a PayPal invoice then updated the entry with the new transaction ID once that invoice is paid. It's not an ideal solution, but at least the visitor does not need to fill out the form again, and you can retain all their entry details.

What does the status say at PayPal in the IPN history?

You can use our logging add-on to help pinpoint the error. You can download the tool here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/downloads/#Gravity_Forms_Logging_Tool

Hello,

Is there a way to provide an associated paypal link to an existing gravity form submission that is in the state of 'processing' so that a payment can be completed?

We have a form that accepts registrations for an event but a couple of people have got to the PayPal screen and for varied reasons not proceeded. We are wondering if there is a way to get them to complete the payment for that entry without the need to complete the form again.

My issue is not intermittent. It is happening with every single test.

I need this resolved soon, as the client is getting pretty angry. This is on a production system.
