I have gravity forms installed on two word press installations on the same site. (I know multisite wordpress is the way to go, but this is not possible at this time.) The IPN Paypal settings are different for each installation. The first works fine, however the second does not work. The form goes directly to the thank you page. i read the support issues on this that state it does not matter if the IPN is different in gravity forms, but it seems that this is the issue. please advise. thank you

I have a function that adds credits to a users account when they purchase credits via a Gravity Forms form. This has been working fine until a transaction came in today where the payment status hasn't changed from Processing and there is no transaction information.

I enabled the logging addon and resent the IPN and get the following error

DEBUG --> Response: WP_Error Object
(
    [errors] => Array

        )

    [error_data] => Array

)

ERROR --> IPN request could not be verified by PayPal. Aborting.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Hello,

Is there a way to provide an associated paypal link to an existing gravity form submission that is in the state of 'processing' so that a payment can be completed?

We have a form that accepts registrations for an event but a couple of people have got to the PayPal screen and for varied reasons not proceeded. We are wondering if there is a way to get them to complete the payment for that entry without the need to complete the form again.

I have forms on my site to create a custom post type upon PayPal payment.

PayPal is sending the IPN successfully. Server logs show the POST coming through from PayPal (173.0.81.1) and returning a Status 200.

173.0.81.1 - - [09/May/2013:19:31:36 -0400] "POST /alphadawgs/?page=gf_paypal_ipn HTTP/1.0" 200 14638 "-" "-"

However, all forms are displaying the status as Processing and not creating the CPT entry.

My understanding was that a 200 response was a successful IPN. Is this incorrect? If so, how can I troubleshoot this issue?

I have done plugin/theme testing, and everything worked prior to upgrading GravityForms and this add on.

Paypal is correctly processing payment and successfully sending back an IPN response, however, Gravity Forms still lists some entries (about 1 in 3) as "Processing". The entries are virtually identical.

Has anyone ever experienced this in the past? Are there some basic things that I can do to troubleshoot the issue? I'm running the latest stable version of the plugin and wordpress.

Hi,
I have built a donation form and have attached a PayPal feed to it in test mode. In the PayPal feed I have the notification options "Send notifications only when payment is received" and "Admin Notification" checked. However, I receive the notification emails (both admin and user) before I enter any details into PayPal.

My setup is as follows:
WordPress version: 3.5.1
Gravity Forms version: 1.6.12
PayPal Add-on version: 1.6

Please let me know how I can fix this. Thanks.

I have a site that is taking registrations for a local photography symposium. People can register for the events they wish to attend and then they are given the option to pay via paypal. It works perfectly as long as they pay at that point. The issue becomes when they don't pay right a way and then contact me for an invoice to pay.

I can go to PayPal and generate an invoice but that doesn't tie back to the registration. Is there a way once a person has registered to send them an email with a PayPal invoice link based on what they ordered that will update the entry when paid. In the same fashion as if they had completed the transaction at the time of registration?

Hi,

I'm attempting to set up my pay-pal add on.
I've purchased the developer license and installed the add on inside of gravity forms.

When I go to the IPN settings page and enter the url http://mixfortv.com/?page=gf_paypal_ipn I get the following error:

"We were unable to validate the URL you have entered. Please check your entry and try again."

From some other searches in the forums, it looks like its possible that this is caused by the fact that my paypal email and my gravity forms email are different.

Since I'm administering the site but not dealing with the payments, the emails do need to be different. Is there a way to make this work?

thanks!

I'm trying to determine if gravity forms + paypal addon is suitable for a client's multiple sites.

Looking through the documentation for the PayPal addon, at one stage you add a URL for PayPal to communicate via IPN or similar, something like "domain.com/?page=gf_paypal_ipn". Looking at this in paypal, it seems to only allow the one URL, hence suggesting that I can only set it up to work on the one subscription site. My client has a number of sites, all completely separate, but is using the one PayPal account for all of them (quite common I would have thought). So does this mean it's impossible to use across multiple sites using the same PayPal account, or is there another way to manage this?

Thanks
