I've had the beta2 version of survey installed on a site, and been using it. I've recently realised, however, that the likert results are very problematic.

I've tried testing it, and found that for some unknown reason the results for likerts will not save every question/answer properly, so in the entry in the backend of wordpress it comes up as blank, even though it is required and has been answered.

I then turned my attention to the emails to see if they contained those missing results, only to find that the likert results on them are completely wrong. Almost none of them match what was actually entered, and it misses different answers that the backend does show.

I then noticed that Version 1.0 was out, and it was out of beta. I immediately upgraded and tried it out, only to find the exact same issue was still occurring. I tired exporting and importing the form, but still the same issue was occurring.

Is this a common problem? A known issue/conflict? Is there anything I can do to get this working 100%? I'm on a very tight deadline for a site, where likerts and 'surveys' are pretty much the core of the site.

Hi, i've created a survey with several likerts, and all of these are set as "required".
This should mean that if i don't make a choiche for all the values, the field must be considered as uncomplete and the survey can't continue.
What happen now instead, is that if i don't choose any value in the likert i get an alert that say me "hey, you have to fill this field", but if i choose only one value when i have sveral values (eg: 5-6 values), and i leave all the others value without a choose, the survey will continue and obviously the DB will not register the unanswered likert values.

This is really important, the required option, in likerts, must be activated in a way that it will prompt alerts until all the likert values are choosen.

Please let me know!

I have looked a few posts about multi-column radio buttons and have seen a few ways to change classes and things, but they don't see to address my issue.

I'd like to essentially recreate the form here: https://docs.google.com/a/siteops.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dEtFeVNTOXFxRDZtd1kwYWRJVUhMeEE6MA#gid=0

I can do everything except the 5th and 6th entry where I want to share a 5 column heading and have 6 different rows. But, I need each row to be individually select-able. Is someone able to help me (or point me to a previous discussion) about how I am able to complete this action?

Thanks!

Hi @kevin, thanks a lot for your tutorial of the likert scale forms, it's fantastic, I've tried and it's looking great. I set some of them as required fields, if I submit without those fields filled in, the likert forms will be messed up.

Snapshot:
http://d.pr/i/vnH3

I found that it's fine on your blog, so I imported your exported form xml and tested it in the default TwentyEleven theme, I got the same strange result.

I'm not sure if it's because the way I implement the script and css or something else.

I included the js in header.php before </head>, and pasted the css at the end of style.css, uploaded the js file into the theme's js folder. Again, it works perfectly fine normally, the issue occurs only if I submit with required fields left out.

Please advice, thanks again.

This page gives the impression that a Polls Add-On exists.

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Polls_Add-On

However, there is no download available here.

http://www.gravityhelp.com/downloads/add-ons/

Also, there is nothing in the Add-Ons browser from the dashboard of my site. If this does exist, please remove it from the documentation pages. My belief that this was available was one of the reasons I upgraded my license. Yes, I know I should have checked more thoroughly before I upgraded. It's likely I would have upgraded anyway. But still, imagine my disappointment to pay for something, only to find that it was not available.

I love the likert capability detailed here: http://www.rocketgenius.com/survery-style-multiple-choice-fields-with-gravity-forms/

I use them lots of places just to dress up a form a little. It would be really nice to have these styles and the likert.js script included as core capability if you have the chance.
