Rics on "Survey and Facebook Connect"

Hi, before purchasing i would like to know if it's possible this scenario for a wordpress website created only for register users and then give them, after registration, the possibility to complete a survey created with gravity forms.

The first step would be to open the front page where both manual registration and Facebook connect will be available as registration options for the user.

After registration a redirect will bring the user to the survey created with Gravity Forms: the survey must associate for each user his seurvey results and his personal data retrieved by the registration or the facebook connect registration.

The survey could not be done if the user isn't registered.

I've to collect for each user his registration data and his survey results.

Is that possible with gravity forms?
I've seen the Survey addon, that could make possible the survey creation if i don't get wrong, but i don't know if it's possible to associate with the survey all the data retrieved by a registration with facebook connect.

Thanks for the support.

Hello

I have the following questions before I buy the subscription:

1. Is dynamically populating name fields of already logged in users possible?
2. Is dynamically populating country field possible by inquiring the users IP address?
3. Multi Columned forms is that possible and
4. Is the plugin responsive and retina ready?

Thanks

Gravity looks good but I just want to check it will be able to do the things I need it to do for my project.

I basically have a pretty long form that I want users to fill out (probably across 3 pages with a progress bar) and when they have completed it their answers will post to the website (as an article). Is it possible to put wordpress Categories as options on the form so it will post to the right categories? Because it is long people may not fill it in all in one go so it would be good if their progress could be saved and they could come back to it later. I want visitors to have a smooth front-end experience, not have to go into the back-end.

Could Gravity handle this?

I have form that I needs to be visible if the user is not logged in, but they should not be able to submit anything without being logged in. I've seen some older posts saying this is not available, but was wondering if this has been added or if there are any 3rd party add-ons that will accomplish this.

ZeadsDead on "GF v1.7beta1 - Enable form persistence"

Although I see an 'Enable form persistence' checkbox under Form Settings for the new beta release of GF, I do not see any reference to this feature in the release notes or dev notes. No mention of it in the forums either.

Although I click the checkbox, it becomes unclicked after I attempt to save my settings. i.e.: it doesn't work for me.

Will this feature allow for the form user to save a page of a multipage? I am hooppppiiinnggg so!! If it is, can you provide guidance on whether:

- does user have to click 'next' for the form to save? or will you integrate a 'save now' button?

- will the form values erase themselves if user attempts to submit the form with an incorrect field or required field missing? (currently a bug of the data-persistance-addon)

- i know GF does not give ETAs but I am curious to know if it works now but maybe broken for me? or it will be included in an upcoming release?

- i have so many other questions but i guess ill have to wait for official announcement... (ie: will user have to be signed in?... does this only work on multipage forms?... does data save in WP database or as a cookie user's comp?)

i am very excited for this feature as you can probably tell.

thanks! ben

Hi There: I poked around and could not seem to find an answer to my challenge.

Is there a way to allow a user access to gravity form only? Basically we are hoping all records created through GF submissions (only, no other areas in UI) are accessible to a user.

If there is a thread on this please point me to it. If not I would be grateful for any words of wisdom.

Thanks Much!

I have a project that requires access for technicians to submit data readings at multiple locations, and I would like to know if GF can handle this...

I had previously set up forms from another plugin and placed them on password-protected WP pages. Users have now requested that these forms auto-populate with technician-specific data, including names, certification numbers, email addresses, etc., so that they don't have to input those details every time they submit. Can GF pull this info from a WP user profile and inject it into each form? Or perhaps accomplish this another way?

I'm not a programmer, so if GF is simple, yet powerful, enough to handle this project, I'd like to get a developer's license and use it for several other sites as well. Thanks for your input.

We use BuddyPress and have the add-on for that. Works great for registrations. Now, we want some forms to be exclusively for users and I see the checkbox where I can make the form for logged in users only.

However, I was wondering if Gravity Forms can recognize and pass the username of the individual so we don't have to ask for details like name and email every time they use the form.

Do you have something you can point me to that would explain how this can be accomplished?
