I've been requested to set up a membership sign-up such that a member is automatically assigned a membership number which is also their login username

As in, each member username needs to be H followed by 5 numbers. Is this possible, or is it forced that a user create their own username?

Thanks, Josh

Hello

I'm trying to create a quiz entry type form where the user must be logged in to submit and they can only submit once.

Basically I've got a number of multiple choice questions (that are marked as *required* so the user can't accidentally submit before completing them)

I've also created a hidden field titled Email that automatically inserts the users email address INSERT VARIABLE: {user:user_email} if they are logged in. I've also made this a required field so technically they shouldn't be able to submit without being logged in (otherwise it would be blank). I've also checked the NO DUPLICATES box so that the user can't submit twice.

I've done the same for USER LOGIN.

All this sounds like it should work just fine but whether I'm logged in or logged out, I can submit as many times as I want. Checking the submissions, it is recording my email address and USER LOGIN but it isn't stopping submissions when I'm not logged in (both fields are blank) and it also isn't stopping multiple submissions from the same user.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

I have a registration form and an add a listing form that submits a custom post type listing.

I can't work out how to make the add a listing form available to only those who register? So if a user navigates to the listing form I need to say "Please Register to submit your listing" or "Please log in..." I guess it might be Please log in or register..."

I want to have persistent forms, and downloaded the Persistence plugin. I cannot get it to work, and I am wondering if I have to download the User Registration add-on from Gravity Forms first? The check box "Enable Form Persistence" will not stay checked when saved. Do I check "Require User to be Logged In?" This is very frustrating, and I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.

I am going to be developing a site for a manufacturer that has a dealer network, each dealer has a dealer number they are associated with. My client wants me to have a dealer-only section on their site in which the user name is the dealer number. They want the dealer to be free to create their own account but be restricted to using their dealer number as username(matching a database on the back end, essentially a dealer number whitelist). Is this something that gravity forms can handle? if so, how?

Hi,

We're using Gravity Forms for lead generation purposes in our WordPress website. You could say that the form is the backbone of our site. Because we want to collect data from as many people as possible, we want to make sure that the threshold for entering the form is as low as possible.

So we don't want (recurring) visitors to log in at the beginning of the form, but at the very end of it. Just like on an e-commerce site where you enter your personal information or log in when you've registered before.

Until now, we haven't found a solution for logging in at the end of the form for already registered users. Could you please assist us in how to accomplish the log in feature at the end of the form without losing the entered data? We would be very thankful because it is very important for us.

New users are automatically created using the User Registration add-on, but a login option at the end of a form for existing users should be available as well.

If not available out of the box, can someone guide me or create a tutorial on how to achieve it?

Thanks in advance for your quick reply!

Kind regards,

Bart

I would like (recurring and previously registered) visitors to be able to login at the end of the form so the entered form data gets stored under this existing user.

If the user is new, he can just register using the register add on. If the user is logged in already, none of these fields show.

Hi, love the product so far.

For my client I'm interested to know about the tie-in between site customers and stripe data.

How do we pass member id to stripe for repeat orders? Stripe says they support this.

On this project, all customers must log-in before ordering is possible, so we should be able to pass along something...

The in terms of order management, the product name, quantity and address are in wordpress already, so it seems that I could do order management from WP admin area if I had confirmation that stripe processing was successful.

This part of Gravity+Stripe is not clear.

I'm searching for an order form plugin with login and several other options.

This Worpress website isn't a webshop, but it's a website where you can order car parts. The people who visit this website know what they want to order.

Now the options I want:
- login with password and name, so people who comes here a second time don't have to fill there adres and other data again
- also options to order without login (if possible)
- all kinds of field choices (dropdown, e-mail, selectionfields, comment field, etc.)
- 3 fields where people can fill in what they need (by words or numbers) and if they fill in the 3th field, again 3 new fields. And so on, and so on.
- a selectionfield where they have to accept the terms and conditions
- after they push the send button the costumer sees a ordering overview, if it's okay they push an accept/order button
- after they push the accept/order button the costumer get's an e-mail about what they order and also an email go's to the supplier

Can I do this with one of your products? And wich product?
Is there also some support?
