I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of the massive amount of space above and below the form and in between the form fields. It must be something simple but I just can't find anything that works.

Here's the form page: http://webdesignerstl.com/contact/

Hi there: I was hoping I could get a bit of help with an alignment issue I continue to experience. On the third on (gf_right_third) it jumps down thus breaking the beautiful horizontal alignment. The page is here (scroll down) but I cannot leave it up long http://stonegateinn.com/hotel-packages/opera-house-theater-getaway-package/

Actually what I am really looking for is seen at the top of the same page " Nights-Adults-Children" tightly nested together.

Whatever is doable, I want it to look nice and the alignment problem I am experiencing does not.

Any words of wisdom are much appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi, with support help I was able to position elements inside the form with this supplied code:

body #gform_wrapper_5 {
    padding: 0px 11px;
}

body #gform_wrapper_5 label {
    padding-top: 11px;
}

body #gform_wrapper_5 .gform_footer {
    padding:0px;

}

This worked great. However, I now want to add padding (the tan area) above the (newly added) form title - so assuming we need to add to the code originally provided. Tried a few things, but couldn't get it to work. See form above map on this page: http://184.173.196.201/~hostccl/property/townhouse-condo/

Also - will want to add padding above the entire form to increase separation between the form and the copy above. Thanks! MM

I've been using Firebug to try to find the right CSS to target, and have come up empty. I need to get the field label moved up closer to the field input. For example, I need "First" to be moved up closer to the first name entry box. I'd like to do this for all of the field labels in the form.
My form is viewable here:
http://seasonshospice.org/join-our-team/career-opportunities/application-form/

The example field label can be viewable here: http://grab.by/kBMu

Hi,

My form in Firefox does not give spacing around the fields but it looks fine in other web browsers. See a form example here: http://www.agilebts.com/zoho-crm-test/

Do you see what I'm talking about and know how to fix?

Hi,

I'm trying to add a background color to my form. I tried using the code from http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/change-background-color but I got a white screen and I had to restore my site. I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to coding, and was wondering if you could explain to me exactly what I need to do. Like I said, I tried following the post above...but I apparently screwed it up! :)

I'm using the Avada wp theme, so I don't know if that has something to do with it...but the form shows up just fine so I don't see why I wouldn't be able to change the colors.

Here's a link to my form...http://69.195.124.81/~intechfu/how-to-apply/

Thank you!!!

Chris Rufo on "Form Width Creating Margin Problems"

Hello,

I recently renewed my GF Business License to try to resolve an issue I'm having with my forms. I've got the form looking just as I want it at http://ageofchampions.org/premiere/. The problem is that it creates some problems with the overall page margins -- so if you scroll down to the footer, there's extra white space to the right.

I'm not sure how I should adjust my CSS to keep the form looking the same and eliminating the spacing problem. Right now, I have it set like this and I think this is causing the margin problem:

body .gform_wrapper .gform_body .gform_fields .gfield .ginput_container {width:550px}

But when I put width:320px (the size of the column), the form appears very narrow.

Appreciate your help. Love the program and couldn't find a solution in the forums for this issue. Thank you!

Christopher
