Hi There,

I just purchased the basic Gravity Forms option a few days ago. I'm trying to build a sign-up form for my live bands/live music website (affordaband.co.uk), where instead of new bands emailing me from my website, instead they can click on a sign-up link on my site, and input all their live band details there - band name, biography, photos, mp3's, video clips etc.. I need them to input the data, then click "SUBMIT", where I get an alert that says PUBLISH, and then I can approve, or make changes, I click PUBLISH, and it becomes a nice formatted page (or post) added to a certain area on my Wordpress site. But my webguy can't figure it out, and I've got no chance. Please help!!!

Thanks Heaps,
Stu

If I select Text for the form submission confirmation, the text message is appended to the bottom of the page the form was submitted from. On a long page, that's hard to spot, especially since it looks like the page just reloads and you're at the top of the browser window (scrollbar at the top, confirmation message at the bottom.) Is there a way to get that message at the top, or scroll the browser window to the bottom so someone will actually see the message? Or is it better to redirect to a confirmation page to have that level of control?

Also, if the form is inserted into a page, it looks like on reloading the page content is still there (which is what's causing the problem described above) but the form fields are gone. Is that accurate? I mention that because it seems like I created a form once that on reload the only thing that was visible was the confirmation message. But thinking back, I think that's because only the form was in the page, no additional content. In this new page, the form is inserted at the end, so when it's submitted and the confirmation message is displayed, it's at the bottom of all the other content on the page.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I would like to be able to use a conditional shortcode in a page post, but apparently it does not work in posts? only notifications and confirmation messages? Im not sure what "content of Admin" is exactly.

For example I have a hidden field "who" that is populated by a GET variable "who". if "who" equals "test" then I want to show a block of text in the page post, so I tried this in the page content:

[gravityforms action="conditional" merge_tag="{Hidden Field:11}" condition="is" value="test"]Content you would like to conditionally display.[/gravityforms]

But it does not show, yet I do see that the hidden field is indeed populated correctly by the $_GET variable. Does the above conditional shortcode not work in page posts? If not, can you move this over to feature requests?

I have been following the AWeber plugin installation instructions and the pluging installs and activates fine. However the Forms->Settings->AWeber settings page is blank apart from the Gravity Forms | AWeber options at the top of the page.

I have tried deactivating/uninstalling/installing/activating but no success.

Hello!
I'm working on multi page form and I didn't find any solution, how to make redirection between pages from one step to another. Form is on the home page, after filling the fields and click 'Next' button user should be redirected to 2nd step on the subsite (with data entered in the first step of course).

I can see that 'Next' button has hardcoded jQuery function to changing pages, so I can't just add own code somewhere.

Any ideas how to achieve this?

Multi sites Help Page is shown on all sub sites. Since Only licensed Forms customers are granted access to the documentation section.

This page should not be shown on all subsites because subsites users will not have license. This page should be only shown in the network admin area or supper admin as it's onlt relevant to them.

Also I would like to create my own support doc what sort of permission would I need to obtain to do so.

Hello,

I recently renewed my GF Business License to try to resolve an issue I'm having with my forms. I've got the form looking just as I want it at http://ageofchampions.org/premiere/. The problem is that it creates some problems with the overall page margins -- so if you scroll down to the footer, there's extra white space to the right.

I'm not sure how I should adjust my CSS to keep the form looking the same and eliminating the spacing problem. Right now, I have it set like this and I think this is causing the margin problem:

body .gform_wrapper .gform_body .gform_fields .gfield .ginput_container {width:550px}

But when I put width:320px (the size of the column), the form appears very narrow.

Appreciate your help. Love the program and couldn't find a solution in the forums for this issue. Thank you!

I have a form that is in a small space in my design. If a user submits the form and forgets a field I need to have it redirect to a new page instead of replacing the form with the error message (there is not enough room in the design for the message).

Alternatively I would like the confirmation and error to appear in a modal box preferably without a page refresh.

Is any of this possible?

Cheers,
