I tried tacking this question onto a previous post, but it seems to have gotten overlooked, so I'll create a new one:

I would like to design a quiz where I assign a different score/value for each answer in each question and at the end, I want to aggregate the scores to see which score/value is dominant. This could be as easy as tallying up how many a's/b's/c's there were... Whichever value appears the most, the quiz taker gets a recommendation as their quiz result.

An example of a similar type of quiz would be 'Personality Type' quizzes where depending on your answers, you are put into a certain category at the end of the test.

Can this sort of thing be accomplished in some way with Gravity Forms? I've been hunting for possible ways, but have had no insights.

Thanks for your assistance and I hope I've explained myself clearly enough.

I have Instant feedback enabled for my quiz. It works great for radio buttons, immediately letting the user know they have picked the right or wrong answer. However, if you have check-boxes or a drop down you don't get any instant feedback.

Hi Guys,

I couldn't find anyone who had posted this before so I thought I would ask:

Could I implement a quiz using the quiz add-on with gravity forms and have a payment service at the end?

For example:

User is sent to quiz and they fill out the appropriate fields (Name, Email etc...)
User fills out the form
Upon completing they are required to pay using paypal
Upon Success of payment they get sent an email with their results, essentially a customised email certificate.
Also a email sent to the owner of the quiz notifying that "X" has completed the survey and here's the results.

I'm sure this can be done with the Developer Licence but I just need a reassurance it will work in the way I mentioned above.

Thanks

Is there a way to override a scheduled form date range?

Context:
The Gravity Quiz Add-On is quite spectacular! At first pass it looked like Woo's Sensei offered good deal more functionality for lesson mgmt and analysis, but the limitations on question types and customization points were significant given its' newness especially compared to GF. Using WCK to handle custom post type and meta field mgmt and Gravity Quiz, I've been able to build out a tailored client solution almost completely in two days and very little code once I got my head around it all. Thanks!

I'm aiming to use the form schedule start / end parameters to control when a class is initially able to take a quiz (not until after having received the lecture material). However, I would like to keep quizzes always accessible for any students who have already completed the course. I have CPT meta data that can identify whether the schedule should / not apply.

I have a series of training surveys created with GForms. I would like to get them all moved laterally to quizzes, but my question applies to both quizzes and general forms:

I would like the user to receive an email notification only when successfully completing a survey/quiz. This email contains a certificate of completion, so obviously I don't want users who failed the survey/quiz to receive them. I don't see a conditional option for user notifications and confirmation shortcodes only display results in the browser, they don't actually send an email (that I can tell...).

Is this possible, or just the fevered dreams of a madman?

Just upgraded to GF Version 1.6.4.4.1 on wp 3.3.2 localhost with only GF and GF registration activated.

I have tried shutting down browsers and reopening (safari and firefox)
I then resorted to IE (hardly ever use that!).
Sometimes when clicking on edit, the edit box will stay open. Sometimes it will not open. Sometimes it jumps open and then closes again.
Haven't been able to pin down the pattern.

I use WordPress version 3.5.1 along with Gravity Forms version 1.6.12 to publish a Client Questionnaire on my business website.

The only way that my customers can reach the Client Questionnaire page of my website is by first paying a fee to PayPal, which then redirects them to the questionnaire.

I cannot personally use a browser to access the Client Questionnaire page, because PayPal does not permit its own clients to pay a fee to test whether their forms are working properly, only to then request a refund of the fee they paid.

Therefore, I have periodically tested my Client Questionnaire form by going into my WordPress dashboard and pulling up the questionnaire page; then choosing “view questionnaire.” Doing so displays the correct website address, just as if I had reached the website page, using a browser.

Each time I have gone through this process, I have filled out the form, clicked on the “submit” button, and the form has faithfully been sent to each of the two e-mail addresses it is programmed to notify of a completed form.

Is there any reason to fear that these have not been valid tests, given the fact that I did not access the Gravity Form in exactly the same manner that my customers would access it (by using a browser, and being redirected by PayPal to the form)?

By the way, I know that the redirect by PayPal is working.

Thank you in advance for your always insightful support.

Would it be possible to add a feature into the next Quiz Addon release.

It would be nice to be able to set global quiz settings like their confirmation message, or quiz results.

And one more feature request, would be option if there was some way to have required passing grades on a series of quizzes in order to even take X quiz, like a final exam.

I'm trying to write a form that will calculate the number of "a" answers, "b" answers, "c" answers, and "d" answers indicated for about 12 questions. In the end, what we want to know is if you answered mostly "a", "b", "c", "d".

Has anyone figured out how to make that calculation work with the new calculation fields?
