Is there an easy way to "split" a form/survey? I'm looking to separate a survey across a series of slides in a slideshow (embed section 1 on a slide, section 2 on another, etc.), and wondered if anyone had looked into this before I start...

Edit: I understand there is similar functionality using the page-break, but I am trying to integrate this into another existing slideshow.

Currently, the only two actions possible once a user has submitted a form is to show some text or send the user to a different page. It would be nice if you had the option to load another form.

I would like to be able to use a conditional shortcode in a page post, but apparently it does not work in posts? only notifications and confirmation messages? Im not sure what "content of Admin" is exactly.

For example I have a hidden field "who" that is populated by a GET variable "who". if "who" equals "test" then I want to show a block of text in the page post, so I tried this in the page content:

[gravityforms action="conditional" merge_tag="{Hidden Field:11}" condition="is" value="test"]Content you would like to conditionally display.[/gravityforms]

But it does not show, yet I do see that the hidden field is indeed populated correctly by the $_GET variable. Does the above conditional shortcode not work in page posts? If not, can you move this over to feature requests?

Hey Rocketeers,

Two polls questions:

1. Do you have plans to allow the widget to display a random poll? I imagine it's pretty simple to implement, and very easy for the user (like a checkbox on the widget options), and would make the widget way more valuable.

2. Do you have plans for a shortcode (maybe added to the Insert Form button) to show all polls, completed or otherwise?

Let me stress how thrilled I am that you're developing a polls add-on. These are the two features that WP-Polls has on it, still, which keep me from ditching WP-P entirely.

Thanks for all you do for us!

I tried out the poll add-on in the sidebar (works great!) and by adding the form in a post. Within the post, how do you get all the options that you have in the sidebar widget?

The short codes in the documentations seem to be for editing a php file. Do those all apply to the shortcode within a post as well? The display_results option wasn't working for me.

Thanks.

shamguy4 on "looking for a form plugin that will help create a classified website"

hello,
im here because i was tricked into buying a different plugin and now i have to REALLY make sure the plugin is for me.

i bought a plugin for $150 and it was terrible.

the stupid plugin applied inline styling to the form!!? which means i could not style it at all and the plugin was bloated. when i asked for help, they said support would cost even more!?

so here i am aagin looking for a new form plugin. i hear this is the place. i have a few questions before i buy.

1) is there a wysiwyg editor for the front end user and can i style it to match my theme so when a user writes in it, he sees what he is really going to get. i hear there is an extension plugin for this?

2) if i already created custom post types and have attached custom fields to those types. is there a way to pull those in to the form creation?

im creating a classifieds site. I have a custom post type called classified. it has a custom field called address.
I want this field to appear on the form. so i can get their address.
later when another user comes and wants to reply to the user that created the classified he can press submit and it will email the user who posted via his address held in the custom field.
3)is the form FULLY stylable?

thank you and have a great day!
