Chris Rufo on "Fitting the form to a column"

Hello,

I'm having an issue getting the form to fit into a column. I've got a two-column set of text on the site using <div class="one-third"> and <div class="one-third-last">. The text content works just as expected and is put to the appropriate column, but the form will not go to the right column.

You can see the result here: http://ageofchampions.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Screen-shot-2013-04-09-at-7.30.27-PM.png.

Is there any trick to getting the form to fit into a <div> column? I can get it into my sidebar just fine, but can't get it into the second column. Thank you!

The page is http://www.ageofchampions.org/premiere.

My form fields run into one another, and I'd like to add spacing between certain fields to prevent this from happening (but not all fields)

Screen shot showing issue:
http://panicinthedark.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Screen-Shot-2013-04-06-at-11.21.00-AM.jpg

Link to page containing form:
http://panicinthedark.com/volunteer/

As you can see, some fields are longer than other and run into the next field.

Thanks!

I have tried other solutions for spacing issues and haven't had any luck so I'm contacting support as a last resort. I appreciate your advice.

My form: http://davidjmiller.com.au/questionnaire-events/

The fields are too close together and I would like more space. I'm happy with the space between the label and field.

There are a couple of other issues that may be related to this:

The HH is my time fields are not where they should be.

The datepicker calendar is also not displaying as it should.

Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

Sorry to bug you with what is probably a routine, simple CSS fix. I looked at the documentation, and have played around with the gtitle/label attribute. Still, I can't seem to add adequate spacing between the field's label (ex. Payment Information) and the text above it.

Here is the URL:

Any helps is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Chris Rufo on "Form Width Creating Margin Problems"

Hello,

I recently renewed my GF Business License to try to resolve an issue I'm having with my forms. I've got the form looking just as I want it at http://ageofchampions.org/premiere/. The problem is that it creates some problems with the overall page margins -- so if you scroll down to the footer, there's extra white space to the right.

I'm not sure how I should adjust my CSS to keep the form looking the same and eliminating the spacing problem. Right now, I have it set like this and I think this is causing the margin problem:

body .gform_wrapper .gform_body .gform_fields .gfield .ginput_container {width:550px}

But when I put width:320px (the size of the column), the form appears very narrow.

Appreciate your help. Love the program and couldn't find a solution in the forums for this issue. Thank you!

Christopher

I read previous threads on other's spacing issues and I have the same issue, yet the css fix didn't help. I did add the 4 lines below to my style.css for the theme.

div.entry-content .gform_wrapper form div.gform_body ul.gform_fields input,
div.entry-content .gform_wrapper form div.gform_body ul.gform_fields select {
margin-bottom: 0
}

You can see the form here...

Please forgive this very amateur question:

I have a Gravity Form on one of our pages (http://www.nyba.com/professional-development/nyba-making-the-commercial-credit-decision-online-registration/ ), and I'd tried both our inherit CSS and the Gravity Forms CSS.

However, the spacing is truly wonky. I have to add paragraph HTML to every description box in order to get adequate spacing. I was wondering if there was a fix to allow each element more spacing?

Thank you so much for your help..

Not sure if this is the best place to ask about this but when I add a product to cart that uses Gravity Forms fields as variables (i.e. Size and Color), on the cart/checkout page, all of the options are listed and not formatted ideally.

Is there a way to hide all of these options (see screenshot) behind a pull-down or something?

Thanks!
