Despite using Akismet, I'm receiving several spam submissions through one of my forms daily.

I have added the e-mail address used in spam submission to the comment blacklist but seemingly this has no effect on Gravity Forms.

That leaves me with all this spam and apparently no way to stop it.

Any suggestions? Or can Gravity Forms be made to check the comment moderation settings as well as Akismet?

Thanks,
Phil

Hi, I've used your plugin for quite awhile and have been very happy with it, but we're experiencing problems with it sending or BCCing to any email address that is on MS 365. I have already contacted MS 365 and they've tested it backwards and forwards and don't think their service is the issue. What could be the problem?

Thanks,

I'm a new Authorize.net plugin user (have been using GF overall for about a year though) I have a basic payment form setup and working well. But one payment didn't come in after the user notified me. After digging, I found that the form entry was marked as spam. Not sure if it was a WP thing or a GF thing. Anyway, the form was taken in by the system but 1) no email notifications were sent out and 2) it appears the payment was never processed. I assume this means that the entry is pretty much dead? And I should have user repeat it? I've never had this happen, and WP in general has been pretty good with false positives.

Thanks,
Blake

We have started getting Trackback Spam on all of our Gravity Form Order Pages.

We get emails almost daily now to moderate "comments" like this "Please moderate: "Order Drapes Diamond with Trim"
A new trackback on the post "Order Drapes Diamond with Trim" is waiting for your approval"
But these are not posts they are order forms.

Trackbacks are turned off for blog posts, but I do not see a way to do that with the Gravity Form.

How can we stop this Trackback Spam on all of our order forms?

Hiya,

I've just noticed that my email notifications are no longer working - I switched to a DreamHost VPS (although I'm not sure if they stopped working before or after the switch)... any idea what to do? I've checked all the settings and don't remember changing anything since they were last working a few months ago (although I have recently updated gravity forms and switched from a developer license to a personal license)...

Page in question: http://www.foodfortranslators.com/content-submissions/

Hey all :)

A client is having an issue. I can't say exactly *when* the issue started because she's one of those that sees a problem, tries to fix it (which means I have to go back in and fix a BUNCH of stuff she "fixed"), and then forgets to tell me until months later.

We have several Gravity Forms on the site, and all are working fine - she gets all the notifications when someone does whatever with a form.

BUT... we have one form that is used for membership. It's using the user Registration and Paypal modules together with a custom form to collect data for a directory. When we set Paypal to only create a user and send a notification after successful payment, it's not happening anymore. (but if we uncheck those boxes, the user is created and the admin is notified - but they'd rather not do that because they don't want a user to be created until AFTER the payment has been successfully made).

We suspect something's happening between Paypal and the site, but it's REALLY odd, because she finds out someone has registered for the site because Paypal notifies her she's gotten a payment. So the payments are being processed just fine through the form, and the info is being saved in the back end of the site as an "Entry" to the form. But notifications from the form are not sent, and the user is not created for some reason. Payment is processed fine, and the end user is returned to the site like they should be (as a successful transaction), but the notification isn't sent and the user is not created.

Anyone know what may be going on here? Any insight would be appreciated.

Our recaptcha elements on our form pages have started to be blocked on pages in IE. Our forms are HTTPS, and IE blocks the recaptchas because they aren't secure content. We have seen a significant drop in volume from these forms in the past few months, and now I'm guessing this is the reason.

Here are the pages in question:
https://vostn.com/referral/
https://vostn.com/new-patient-form/
https://vostn.com/medication-refill-form/

How can this be fixed? Do we even really need recaptchas? I put them on there because it seemed like a good way to block spammers, but how necessary are they for security?

Thanks for your help!

Lately most of the contact form emails sent to my clients (especially ones with GoDaddy or that use Norton AntiSpam) have been getting rejected as "552 msg rejected as spam" which from what I gather means the messages are being rejected because the content of the email sees SPAMMY to the ISPs but the emails only contain the contact info from the person who filled out the form so does anyone have an idea of why this is happening?

What content in a Gravity Form email would be causing ISPs to think the email is SPAM?
