G,

For those widgets, just set the tabindex on one of them in your widget settings to be much higher than the other.

Hey Rob,

I pasted the code from the link into my custom functions folder and it did somewhat help the tab over issues on my site pages; however, when I can't seem to "tab-over" in the correct order (i.e. the cursor skips around to different forms on the page). Here is a good example: go here http://www.texashomeloanpro.com/dallas-home-loan-options/ and try tabbing over.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
G

Greetings,
I am currently running Thesis 1.8.5 on my site here http://www.texashomeloanpro.com

I used the forum here to fix the "tab over" problem on my homepage by pasting the following into my custom functions folder:

add_filter('gform_tabindex', create_function('', 'return 2'));

My question: how do I make this fix apply to ALL of the pages on my site?

Thanks,
G

It is possible there is an incompatibility between the jQuery version in WordPress and that required by Gravity Forms, or some other JavaScript error. I would always start by updating to the latest versions of the software, so long as you your theme and plugins are compatible, then check for theme and plugin conflicts if you still cannot edit the form.

Could our inability to edit the form have something to do with the latest version of Gravity Forms needing to be using something more recent than WordPress 3.4.2? Editing was working fine with the older version.

Confirmed that we could tab between Address 2 and City when using Internet Explorer.

I was able to tab from the Address 2 to City field on all three of your forms.

If you cannot edit the form in the form editor, please being by checking for theme and plugin conflicts http://rkt.gs/testing and also please check the server resources to see how much RAM PHP has available for your site.

Thanks for the update. Glad that worked. It's not on the form settings because the form can be used in multiple places on your site, and setting the tabindex once would not be very flexible.

The tabindex can be set in the widget settings when you embed your form. Click the "advanced settings" and then set the tabindex to the fields do not overlap ranges. You can make the sidebar form begin at 10 and the footer form begin at 43 if you want, and so long as your sidebar form does not have more than 33 fields in it, the indexes will never conflict.

Screenshot of where you can set this: http://minus.com/lPCktWYSk5Suc
