Hi there,

I've got a problem that I think should be solvable. My non-profit wants to calculate membership costs in pricing fields based on the user's response to two questions. But we don't want the user to see how this works behind the scenes, so we don't want any prices to appear before the total amount.

Here are the 2 questions that determine cost:

1. Please select the industry group that best describes your business*

    Commercial Products/Services
Construction
Consumer Products
Education, Non-Profit & Government Entities
Financial & Insurance Services
Healthcare
Information Technology
Manufacturing
Professional
Transportation

2. Number of employees in U.S.*

    1 – 750
751 – 1,000
1,001 – 1,500
More than 1,500

And here's the logic we want to implement:

- IF the answer question 1 is "Education, non-profit & government," THEN total is $950.00

- IF the answer to question 1 is NOT "Education, non-profit & government," AND answer to question 2 is...
"1 – 750" then total is $950.00
"751 – 1,000" then total is $1,875.00
"1,001 – 1,500" then total is $3,125.00
"More than 1,500" then total is $4,500.00

Thanks in advance for your help!

-Ben

I'm using Gravity Forms to gather loan information from potential borrowers and need to automatically total certain groups of things in my forms. Right now even though I add a section break, the total fields total every single thing on the entire form. Is there a way to have a total field that only takes amounts from one section as opposed to the whole form. Thanks!

Starting to lose my mind a bit on this one. I have a simple quote calculator form which adds up a total cost based on the options selected.

Upon submission of the form this total is then displayed along with a number of other merge tags in the confirmation message and by confirmation email.

For some strange reason it works perfectly in Chrome but the {Total:30} merge tage displays no figure in IE or Firefox. This field is also blank in the email confirmation if the form is submitted on these browsers. No other merge tag is effected this is the only one.

Hello,
I'm using GF to sell a configurable service (a product with options).

I would like to pass to confirmation page (redirect page) via quesry string all info I need to build Google Analytics ecommerce Tracking code.

The only issue I'm having is about the Total Amount: I can't find a way to pass it without the currency symbol.

I've tried like this:

total={Total:87}

and like this:

total={Total:87:value}

but in both ways the querystring is dirty (as the currency symbol is converted to be URL-compatible) so I keep get something like this:

http://www.mysite.com/thank-you/?total=136%2C90+%26%238364%3B

is there a way to clean the value of that field to have just the numeric total?

Interested in buying either the multi-site license or the developer license.

Had a few questions:

1. Do both versions support check out feature using Paypal and/or Google Checkout?

2. For checkout will the forms be able to do the following ... If Registrant 1 is $200 they can add a spouse which would be an additional $80 and two children ($40 each). The total registration cost will be $360. I know the text fields logic work just want to ensure it will do the "math" as well.

Thanks

I have this really long multi-page form that I'm setting up. In it there are multiple areas where people can add a product to their 'cart.' When they get to the payment screen, the total shows the grand total but does not itemize their selections; so it's hard to know what exactly you paid for.

Is this a feature that's not ready yet? How might I be able to achieve having an itemized totals area?

Thanks

Hello
I need help on this issue:

Using a product Drop Down field,
how can we get the Value data for calculation purpose (the Value data shown when choosing «show values»).
In fact I need to make another field with the Value multiply by the Price to get a Total amount (in this case the Value represent a quantity. The Unit cost is changing according the quantity)

TOTAL field data would be VALUE * PRICE

How can I create this field with this formula ?

Thank you for your help

I've got a form finally put together that I'm very pleased with and it works exactly like I'm wanting except that the total field isn't updating propertly in certain instances.

If someone registers a foursome for the golf tournament, they're charged $75/player = $300. If someone also decides to be a corporate level sponsor for $1000 they get a free foursome team to play in the tournament.

I added a single product item with a value of -$300 that appears if they've requested a foursome (so they can enter their player names) and selected to be a corporate sponsor. For a total of $1000. If I didn't add the discount, the total would calculate to $1300.

When you submit to PayPal, the items and totals are reflected accurately. It's only the total field on the form itself that doesn't recalculate properly given the different combinations and options available.

Foursome w/ Corporate Sponsorship Prices Correctly at $1000 Total
http://screencast.com/t/ebbBLbSr

Foursome w/ Major Sponsorship Prices Incorrectly at $500 Total (should be $300 for the foursome + $500 sponsorship = $800 Total)

Hi there: I have created a form using the "Pricing Fields>Total"

After the form went live we decided to delete the total. It is not visible now in the form editor but still outputs on confirmation and notification pages. On this page I am using
{all_fields} because it's a nice table. I don't want to use separate merge tags.

How do I eliminate the "total" from output? It (in theory) should not be there.

Thx,
