I am also having this problem, except it is slightly more puzzling.

If I create a form with Checkboxes, Radios or a Dropdown, the User Registration Add-on populates the 'User Meta' mapping dropdown field with the *values* of the Checkboxes/Radios/Dropdown opposed to the *key* ...

Example:
Type: Checkbox
Key: 'favorite_colors'
Values: Red, Blue, Orange, Green, Violet.

On user registration page the mapping Dropdown contains options Red, Blue, Orange, Green and Violet, instead of 'favorite_color.' Not exactly sure why... as there is no foreseeable reason why anyone would map a specific value to a field

Thoughts?

I am not sure about their buddypress user, but using Gravity Forms' User Registration add-on available to developers and a third party Custom Post Type or Directory add-on, you should be able to get most of what you've listed.

Hi there i need to create a form to let users input their data for a sort of web directory. Their data will be saved to a custom post type. I would like them to submit their form and create their wordpress/buddypress user at the same time. Is this possible?

I have tested on twenty twelve without any plug-in and same issue...
To double check entry I have added a custom text field only view by admin in my form with auto-completion with date.

As I can see, the issue is related to multiple page form

The fresh install was on the same server? There must be something unique causing this problem. Can you try the following?

Maybe, my form is based on 4 pages with logical condition steps.
But the date & time remain the same on all tests....
