That's correct. We can't control what various pieces of software and as such, it isn't something we can fix.

I have a similar issue, when I reply from the Outlook WebApp, the customer's email is used as reply-to; but when I reply using Apple Mail on my iPad, the admin_email is used as reply-to; very strange. So the problem must be in the client, not in the GF plugin.

Bill_B, if we don't adequately address your issue here, please start a new topic. Your issue is unrelated to the original question here.

You can send the notification to multiple addresses. Separate the email addresses with a comma, no spaces. It will work fine like that.

I'm trying to set up notifications for one of my forms.

For this form:

http://www.texasshredderclassic.com/registration

The automatic notification email isn't sending.

However, I made a test form and the notification email works perfectly. The only thing I can pinpoint is that one form connects to authorize.net and has an SSL cert, the other form doesn't.

Could this be affecting the sending process? If not, what else can I do to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks!

I am having the same problem.

Questions:
Is it possible to send admin notification to multiple email addresses?
(I had guessed yes but your documentation uses the singular.)

If possible to send multiple notifications, what is the proper separation syntax?
(comma space / just space / just comma / other?)

thanks

Do you have an entry in your Questionnaire entries in the back end? If not, then you are likely right that they didn't click on submit. If you do have an entry, but never received an e-mail, then it might be a notifications issue.

In that case, I would set up a test form, say just a single field, set up notifications and confirm that they are working. If they aren't, then I'd follow the steps listed here to troubleshoot: http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Troubleshooting_Notifications

Thank you, David, for your quick reply.

Frankly, I wouldn’t know how to go about running a test to make sure clients went through PayPal to reach my Client Questionnaire. However, I have the assurance that, if I receive a questionnaire, but I don’t receive a payment from PayPal, showing the person’s correct name, that “client” isn’t going to receive our requested services!

Actually, my question was prompted by the fact that I just received a payment in full for our services, but we were never sent e-mail notifications to either of our two e-mail accounts (which would have also transmitted the individual’s Client Questionnaire).

The only possibility that I can think of is that the customer filled out the Client Questionnaire, but neglected to click the “submit” button. Do you have any other thoughts on what might have occurred?

As long as you are certain that the Paypal redirect works, then it should be fine. Do you do a test on the questionnaire to make sure they came from Paypal or is it otherwise secured?

I use WordPress version 3.5.1 along with Gravity Forms version 1.6.12 to publish a Client Questionnaire on my business website.

The only way that my customers can reach the Client Questionnaire page of my website is by first paying a fee to PayPal, which then redirects them to the questionnaire.

I cannot personally use a browser to access the Client Questionnaire page, because PayPal does not permit its own clients to pay a fee to test whether their forms are working properly, only to then request a refund of the fee they paid.

Therefore, I have periodically tested my Client Questionnaire form by going into my WordPress dashboard and pulling up the questionnaire page; then choosing “view questionnaire.” Doing so displays the correct website address, just as if I had reached the website page, using a browser.

Each time I have gone through this process, I have filled out the form, clicked on the “submit” button, and the form has faithfully been sent to each of the two e-mail addresses it is programmed to notify of a completed form.

Is there any reason to fear that these have not been valid tests, given the fact that I did not access the Gravity Form in exactly the same manner that my customers would access it (by using a browser, and being redirected by PayPal to the form)?

By the way, I know that the redirect by PayPal is working.

Thank you in advance for your always insightful support.
