Hi,

I have surfed the forum but found no real answer to this:

• We use the WPML plug in on our site.
• We use GF. The plug in - BOTH admin interface and front end - are in swedish. We want to change this to finnish.
• How do we do this? We are not coders so we would very much appreciate having this explained to us like we are two year olds. :-)

Regards

So I've got a bi-lingual site using WPML and I'm using Gravity Forms with the Mailchimp add on to create signup forms. I've created two groups in Mailchimp for preferred language and I was wondering if there was a way to populate a hidden field in gravity forms to pass the language set in the website to mailchimp to sort the signup into the appropriate language group.

The site is http://www.thegreatrideofchina.com

Thanks!

Hello,

Some users have been complaining of reCaptcha issues with a registration form I have. As a result, I was thinking of replacing reCaptch with Picatcha.

My site is using WPML and is translated into 10 languages. I didn't see any mo/po files for Picatcha.

How does it handle localization?

I've searched all available info on the forum/google & documentation but I'm stuck. I have set up a form with PayPal add-on, in 3 languages with WPML. Whatever language is chosen, PayPal is displayed in Dutch. Would be better if it were English, at least.

Tips anyone?

Hi, here's my form:

http://www.seiu32bj.org/seiu-32bj-is-happy-to-announce-2013-youth-brigade/

It works fine in Chrome and Firefox, but when I try it in IE9, it keeps telling me that "There was a problem with your submission. Errors have been highlighted below," and the Name, Email and Phone fields are empty. I've also had users complain that when they submit a form in IE, they get a blank page (and the entry wasn't submitted), but I've been unable to reproduce that problem.

Any idea what could be causing the problem?

Hi,
I have gravity forms in conjunction with wpml's gravity forms multilingual and I can translate the form I have created fine, but I have a problem with the plugin translation.
I have two languages in wpml, catalan and spanish, being catalan the default one. The problem I have is that I have created a (very basic) catalan .mo, but (with the web in catalan) the form errors (required fields for instance) are shown in spanish. Locale is "ca" and works fine with wp or nextgen gallery, but even, I tried different .mo names or tried using a valid .mo (finnish one specifically) to see if the problem was my .mo file. But the form error messages still appear in spanish.
Another strange thing is that in admin everything is shown in catalan (wordpress, nextgen gallery, ...), but gravity forms is shown in spanish! Should not default to english if catalan translation is not present? I also tried changing some admin strings in the catalan translation, but everything was still shown in spanish.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Pau

Hi,

I've been searching for a while here, but I didn't find yet the information I need.

I have a site already with Gravity Forms, that now needs to be multi-language.

I'm using the qTranslate plugin for the site content, but I'm also considering change it for the WPML plugin (any thoughts about it someone?).

I don't have no idea how to make my forms change their language according to the options that I'll made available on the site (portuguese, english and spanish).

I've read here some info about making copies of the forms in different languagens and inserting them in the relative post's/pages content, but I'd like to have some clear directions from the developers of the plugin. I think that would be more helpful than just trying out.

Thanks in advance.

I'm working on a site which is using WPML to localize things into 10 languages.

GravityForms seems to work very well with WPML in this regard.

The two areas i'm having issues with are form paging step titles and the pervious, next & submit buttons when images are used instead of text.

The page fields don't seem to accept the php escape code. is there another way to ensure these are added to a po file?

Also is there a way to dynamically swap the button images based on the current language?

Thanks

This is weird. Whenever I submit a form, it creates a new blank draft post .....

I am not currently not emailing the form submission results to anywhere. Instead I am redirecting to a .php page using "Pass Field Data Via Query String". That works great.

The other weird thing is the category the post gets put into is totally random. Currently i have three draft posts - one says "-" for the category, one says "uncategorized", and one says "Thai IDN News", which is the single category I have.

Any idea why these draft posts are being created? I have latest versions of Gravity Forms, Gravity Forms ML and WPML.

There is a clue ... I have PHP debug on and there is a notice coming up when I hit submit saying something about ... Undefined Index: PostAuthor and the code is inside gravityforms plugin code. But its only up for half a second so very hard for me to make out the entire line, but the code is in gravityforms/forms_model.php on line 1443.

Hope that helps diagnose the issue!

If it helps, the shortcode I am using is:

[gravityform id="4" title=false description=false ajax=true]

Perhaps there is something "wrong" with that ....
