I've been waiting on the post functionality of 1.3 to integrate with a client site. I'm glad to hear it will be out this week. If it won't be I'd love to get a hold of a test copy.

In 1.2 you can't use any of the advanced fields as a Post Custom Field, it is strictly a text field. This is going to change in 1.3 as we will introduce the capability to use a variety of fields types with your Post Custom Field.

You won't have access to all the advanced fields, only single value fields as the custom field functionality is a key/value pair so it only accepts one custom value. So the Address field for instance won't be able to be used as a Post Custom Field, however drop down, radio buttons, website, email, etc. anything with a single value will be available.

1.3 is wrapping up developing and testing this week and will be available next week. I will be posting more details and videos of the new features later this week.

Would you like to test it out?

Is it possible to access the address customfield or any advanced fields for a post form submission to show on the post page?

I also need to be able to allow users to edit/delete their submissions somehow either through a custom write panel in the admin or an external wp page. That would make this a perfect solution for me. Thanks guys. Any eta on 1.3? I need it badly with the new custom field support.
