There are no known issues with the FreshBooks Add-On and Gravity Forms itself. The issue is going to be specific to your site configuration and setup and the likely cause is a lack of available PHP memory.

Activating and deactivating plugins impacts your available PHP memory. That is why activating a plugin can cause an issue and deactivating it makes it go away.

I would suggest increasing your available PHP memory by following the instructions here:

http://www.nerdgrind.com/increase-wordpress-and-php-memory-limit/

You may need to discuss this with your web host.

I activated the Freshbooks Add-On and immediately experienced problems editing forms on the admin side. Before activating the add-on, everything was working great. After activating the add-on, when I would go to the Edit Forms section, I would get the following message:

"Error 500 - Internal server error
An internal server error has occured!
Please try again later."

Once I would refresh/try again, I would get to the Edit Forms section, but it would no longer function properly. Rather than being able to see the Fields menus on the right hand side, the Fields menus were missing. In addition, I could no longer hover over the field boxes and be able to edit them. The best way to highlight the issue, is with screenshots that show exactly what I'm talking about (see below):

Screenshots: Before/After Activating Freshbooks Add-On
Edit Forms: Before
Edit Forms: After

In addition, when I deactivated the Freshbooks Add-On, the Edit Forms section returned to its full working condition. So the problem definitely comes and goes with the activation and deactivation of the Freshbooks Add-On. This add-on would be a fantastic addition to my website and I'd love to resolve this issue. I look forward to your response and assistance. Thank you in advance.
