Where did the iContact add-on come from? Is it this?
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-icontact/

If so, that was not created by Gravity Forms and as such you will need to contact the plugin author.

Okay, finally figured that out. Downloaded the icontact form, followed each step to register the app. Got this response from icontact "The application "iContact Gravity Forms Add-on" can now access your account, using the password you provided. "

Figured I was good to go. Put my icontact username, app id and app username that I had just received during registration into place so I could save the settings and get to working on my form.

Hit save and got the following message: "The application was not recognized. Possible reasons are: the API-AppId was entered incorrectly; the application is not registered for that user."

So, as the gravity app suggested, I contacted icontact and they said there was nothing they could do, the problem was not on their end. Pretty much the exact same response I got from them every single time I attempted to make their damn sign up form code work on wordpress over the past 6 hours.

So... if icontact says this app can now access icontact, but I can't get past this "app is not recognized...." message, what can I do next to take care of this problem? I've been trying to get a sign up form on my wordpress site for two days now.

Sorry if I missed this exact question in all the similar topics, but I am not able to get the plugin activated.

I went ahead and installed "gravity forms (nl)" and proceeded to activate it. Supposedly I am to put the registration code under "Forms" which is to show up in the left column above "appearance".

"Forms" has not showed up anywhere after activation. I have logged out, logged on, refreshed the page, uninstalled and re-installed, activated and deactivated. So all I can figure is I'm looking for "forms" in the wrong place. So I begin to go through all the menus that pop up as I hover through all the buttons along the left margin of my wordpress page.

Still haven't found anywhere to put the registration code.

Can anyone offer any help to this obvious newbie?
