I'm pretty sure this must have been asked...</p> <p>I would like to generate a unique number after say 3 characters on a form that would be recorded in the database and sent on a conformation email to the person who submitted it. Something like "RET123456". Obviously this would be different to each person filling the form in.</p> <p>Thank you for your help in advance </p>
