There is an easier way to do this. There are merge tags available when configuring your notifications that output the edit URL for the post that was created.

See this screenshot:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/185347/Slingshot/Pictures/Screen%20Shot%202011-11-22%20at%203.35.44%20PM.png

There is a Post Id and Post Edit URL merge tag available that will output the appropriate edit URL.

Sorry, wasn't thinking, you just add this to the bottom of the email in the notifications section http://example.com/wp-admin/post.php?post={post_id}&action=edit and it goes straight to that page.

Hi there,

On the email that gets submitted to the client, would it be possible to have a link that will get him to go directly to the post that has been submitted so that he can either publish or delete?

I am looking for something like this: http://example.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3839&action=edit
