Ahh yes, label alignment, of course. Good answer, thanks for the help, I use all three editiors found in Fire Fox, Safari & Chrome. Tons to learn, cheers.

Cool website and portfolio by the way.

Another option would be to use the left aligned labels which can be configured under your form settings. This would be the labels on the same line as the inputs and save some vertical space. Other than that, just continue removing padding and margin per the instructions above and you'll be able to reduce the height as much as possible.

Thanks David for the answer, this seems to have done the trick. However, I wouldn't mind reducing the height further. I could reduce the size of the email box via GravityForm controls and would like to place the submit box next to the medium sized email field. Any further answers would be much appreciated.

[css]
#gform_widget-3 .gform_wrapper .top_label .gfield_label {
	margin: 0 !important;
	}

#gform_widget-3 .gform_wrapper .gform_heading {
	width: 98%; margin-bottom: 0;
	}

#gform_widget-3 .gform_wrapper .gform_footer {
	margin: 0 !important;
	}

#gform_widget-3 .gform_wrapper .gform_edit_link {
	margin: 0;
	}

The widget ID is "#gform_widget-3". Using this, you can use CSS to target elements within this widget to reduce padding and margin. The more padding and margin you remove from various elements, the less the tall the widget will be. A quick example would be to remove the margin from the form labels:

[css]
#gform_widget-3 .gform_wrapper .top_label .gfield_label { margin: 0 !important; }

That would go in your theme's style.css file. If you are using Firefox, download the Firebug add-on to easily target other elements with padding and margin within this widget.

Hi,

I'm using the User Registration add on in a side with two simple fields only. However, the size is massive, it's about 300x250, so vertical real estate wastage aplenty.

Can anyone advise how I alter the size of just the widget box using 'User-Registration' only and leave the other widgets untouched.

Via Safari Web inspector I've tried to locate the class to amend, no luck. Is this a change I make via the CSS class name whilst building the form so it's of a particular height?
