Hi Peter,

thank for answer and the advise!!
Actually now i found a solution for my "lost data" and i can restore it quiet easily with Advanced Custom FIeld, in fact the data were also saved in default custom field so now i have "just" to copy and paste, better then re-start from nothing!

After you advise me i installed fot to give a look at More Fields (i sow there is also More Type) and speaking about the setting tools for the custom fiels of both plugins Advanced Custom Field seems little bit advanced!

Did u tryied both before? Iìd like to confront with u for to undestand what's the better plugin for to do this, realy i think Advanced Custom Field is great but i think there is not a good way for to backup all values of custome field created!

txs

The Gravity Forms Custom Post Type Add-On is for using Gravity Forms to create a form that creates a post that is a custom post type. Out of the box Gravity Forms only creates Posts. This Add-On lets you create custom post types. So like Gravity Forms, it's not going to add forms to your edit posts screen.

Gravity Forms does not currently add fields to the post editor. You can use Gravity Forms to build forms that create posts, however you embed the form on a page or post using a WordPress shortcode or in a theme template file using a function call. It doesn't display the form in the post editor.

If you used the Advanced Custom Field plugin to add custom fields to the post editor, that data is probably still there. It just isn't being displayed. You may want to check with the developer of the Advanced Custom Field plugin. But i'm assuming it stores it's value as custom fields with the post, in which case the data probably still exists in the database. Unless of course you had some sort of database crash.

Now i'd like to know if Gravity Form it's the right plugin not just for build form but also for to add advanced custom field in post/page editor!

if "Yes"
- is there a guide for to do it?
