Out of the box Gravity Forms only creates Posts. This Add-On lets you create custom post types. You can use Gravity Forms to build forms that create posts, however you embed the form on a page or post using a WordPress shortcode or in a theme template file using a function call. It doesn't display the form in the post editor.</p> <p>If you used the Advanced Custom Field plugin to add custom fields to the post editor, that data is probably still there. It just isn't being displayed. You may want to check with the developer of the Advanced Custom Field plugin. But i'm assuming it stores it's value as custom fields with the post, in which case the data probably still exists in the database.
