Can you tell me more about the error you are getting? Can you check in with your web host to make sure the changes that you made actually changed the memory allocated to PHP and WordPress? Can you link to your site?

Oddly enough we are unable to duplicate this issue with SlideDeck and the JQuery FCG plugin installed and both activated. The form builder still works fine for us. This could be a configuration specific issue where it depends on how you are using the SlideDeck and jQuery FCG plugins. Because of this the only way for us to debug it would be on the site having the issue.

If you can send us a WordPress admin login for the site, and reference this post, we can look into it and see why it is happening. It's going to be a javascript conflict caused by one of these plugins.

But out of the box, they don't appear to cause it so it's something more specific than just them being activated.

Yes, the solution is to fix SlideDeck Pro so it isn't outputting code where it shouldn't be. Gravity Forms uses best practices, we can't prevent other plugins from causing conflicts if they aren't doing the same.

We don't have SlideDeck Pro locally, if you send us a copy to carl@rocketgenius.com we can install it and see what is going on and see if we notice anything obvious. We can then let the SlideDeck Pro guys know what they need to change.

I too am having this issue and have found Gravity Forms dislikes the SlideDeck Pro for WordPress - Slider Widget plugin and the JQuery Featured Content Gallery both of which I NEED for my site to run properly. I also NEED Gravity Forms. Is there anyway around this error?

for the record I've experienced this conflict with the plug-in WP-Cufón - deactivate it and the Gform editor works fine

Hey, thanks, think I got it!

I tried deactivating plugins, then Gravity Forms itself with no results. Then went in and actually deleted the plugin via FTP and reinstalled, it's letting me do it now, fingers crossed...will report back on anything else. Thanks,
Ian

If you get an AJAX error the most likely cause is either a theme or plugin conflict. You will have to test for both as a first step.

Activate the default WordPress theme (TwentyTen on 3.0 and Kubrick on 2.9) and then test Gravity Forms to see if you can create a form. If you can, then something in your theme is causing a Javascript issue. If you still can't, then move on to testing for plugin conflicts. You can activate your theme now.

Deactivate *ALL* plugins and then only activate Gravity Forms. Test to see if you can create a form. If you can then it is a plugin conflict. You will have to activate each plugin one by one and test Gravity Forms after each one to see if you can create a form. Once you hit a plugin that causes it to stop working, that plugin is most likely outputting Javascript where it should not be.
