Hi Carl. I agree a plugin would be way preferable. I've asked the theme developer whether he'd be keen to convert the functionality to a plugin. He said he'd considered doing so but was way too busy to do it.

Interesting, i'll take a look. The first thing that comes to mind when I read more about this theme is... it should have been a plugin. Trying to cram all that functionality into a theme doesn't seem like a good idea because then you are stuck with that theme. This type of functionality makes more sense as a plugin so you aren't tied to that layout/design *AND* it's easier to upgrade for bug fixes, etc. But i'll take a look at it.

I just took a look at the theme and it does look good.

What might be preferable is if a system could be built into Gravity Forms itself to do this type of thing.

I just created my first form using conditional thingies (you can tell I'm a pro, but it is 4am), which is for visitors to my site to add an event. Something like this could simply add to that, by allowing me to charge for it if I wanted to, or keep certain things free, depending on what was selected.

Hi All

There's a really interest new premium theme on the block called "Sofa Yellooh! - WP YellowPges": http://themeforest.net/item/sofa-yellooh-wp-yellowpges/98307 It has an istockphoto-like deposit system which can be used to regulate the submission of posts to the site; in other words, it allows a pay to post type set-up but one which relies on pre-deposited funds rather than per-transaction/post payments.

I've asked questions in the discussion area for this theme as to whether it could be used with Gravity Forms and I've purchased the theme with that in mind. However, the integration looks a bit tougher than I anticipated.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if someone were able to tweak this theme's files to make it fully compatible with Gravity Forms. Think of the possibilities... . If anyone is keen in doing this, I'd love to hear from them.

Cheers
Richard
